So just as I was typing my response above, there was a knock at the door, and the lovely lady who does the non-Amazon deliveries to our house handed over a parcel that I’d completely forgotten about ordering.

    It’s a two-set of GoDice.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/GoDice-Pack-Connected-Educational-Innovative/dp/B0B9Y48CPT/ (yep I know this is an Amazon link, and I bought mine from elsewhere, but I forget where I got mine from!)

They work really nicely with the apps you can download.
Now I’m installing the latest Unity editor to see if I can integrate them into my own game.
Sorry, workmates, you’ll have to wait for my latest PR review – I’ve got more important stuff to be playing about with just now…..

(if I can get the dice working with my own Unity app, I might just shell out – see what I did there? – for a set to turn them into RPG D20 dice….)

@blinky465 according to google the UK N gauge is 1:148, but I wouldn’t ask you to print anything for me as I’m terrible at commiting to projects.

I abandoned the N gauge build last time (parents were seriously ill, so I didn’t have the time, or mental resources to devote to it) and sold the locomotives as I was worried they’d seize up before I got around to it.

So it’s potentially expensive as I need more track and one, or two locomotives. Not to mention the cost in timber, terrain etc.

And recently my working week changed so I work six days, but have every sixth week off meaning that once every six weeks I may have the energy and time to work on it…
