Thursday and it’s 15°C outside. Also it had rained last night. Let’s see if this trend continues. 🙂
Fingers crossed for you. Here we had about thirty minutes of super-heavy rain and it cooled down for a few hours. By the next day, temperatures were back up in the high twenties.
Yesterday Southern Water announced not just a hosepipe ban but along the south coast we’re going into “emergency use only”. Their timing makes you think they’re just taking the mickey. Given a water company only exists to deliver water to you when you want it, and take it away when you don’t, these jokers are failing on just about every possible level.
But good to hear you’re getting a bit of a break from the hot weather.
That means you’ve been able to get loads of painting done, right? 😉
If you mean “priming” when you say “painting” then yes. And two little baby yoda got splashes of colour. And I ordered a few 25mm² bases.
Also have some temperature appropriate music:
We already did this one, in this week’s Hobby Hangout 😉
(Yours is not bad. I prefer my version though).
I like that ordering stuff counts as hobby. In that case, I got loads of hobby done this week!
Obviously the reCaptacha does shit all.
Spam bot alert!
please review that users posting history!
It’s just rained heavily here and I was quite happy to actually sleep to the sound of a storm. It beats the YouTube black screen that I run to try and drown out the Alexa alert of “motion at the front door” my asshat housemate runs at all hours. Yes it’s about *does math* 15° here as well. It’ll be much higher by the end of the workday but the dip is nice.
As far as spam bots, it’s been fun to see them collect on the “This man has money” entry for my Arabian Knights project.
@sundancer Priming is just painting for the later colors.
@blinky465 Nice photo of a place that would otherwise be a pleasant visit if things weren’t so bad with the water quality. I hope things get better there
And now.. Chaos!!!
Chaos indeed! Those first two left me feeling like I’d had a mosquito stuck in my ear for twenty minutes or so!
The third one was quite cyberpunk atmospheric. Can’t quite bring myself to say I liked it, but it wasn’t horrible ?
Didn’t hear many guitars though….
??????
Jeebus Christ on a bike. Woke up to a battalion of notifications about “new topics” in support… all with the same Spambot.
Good morning everybody. It’s Friday!
Don’t tell the other robots. But I think one of them has worked out how to tick a box…
Pfft guitars! The noble cello and austere violin have much more to offer sometimes.
This does not take itself seriously and neither do I
For dear Pundancer, and I believe LingLing from ‘Drawn Together’ said it best “Billy Crystal?!”
And on that note… a Holy(?) Word from our sponsors
I’m guessing @sundancer is having a well deserved break at the seaside in the sun or something, as it’s Saturday evening and still no new forum post….
Well……..we here in my part of the prairie in good old Kansas are supposed to hit 97f today!
(what excuse can I use to stay indoors) maybe “Sundancer says I need to paint more”!
Ya, I’ll try that!
