    Hello everybody!

Sorry I was a bit quiet, it is very possible that on Saturday night I might have spend a good amount of the night hitting the booze. and Sunday was very quiet…

    Anyway the goals were:
    1) Finish to paint the pak crew. On going
    2) Finish to paint the Panzershreck crew. On going
    3) finish to paint the 2 PAKS themselves. On going
    4) Finish to put together the 5 comets I am currently working on -> Done
    5) pre highlight the 4 first cromwells that have been undercoated this week -> Done
    6) Basecoat the said 4 cromwells -> Done
    7) Start to clean up the next 4 cromwells -> Done

I might have dispersed myself a bit, but well. better ambitious and do slightly less than planned than just planning a tiny bit and doing just that.

The PAK and Panzershreck Crews had their uniform done and highlighted, the second Panzer Shreck crew (SS) has been forgotten ans is trying to go to the level of the rest of the infantry.

I tried something new with the PAKs in doing an airbrush highlight. I am not too convinced by it but well… first try.

    Here are the pictures:

@warzan the 15mm are going along

@scribbs thanks for the informations and lovely project you got there 🙂

@crazyredcoat thanks for the information mate

@horati0nosebl0wer well at the end of the day you got to be aware that if you want to align I don’t know 20 Leman Russ (2 companies) or let’s say a Squadron of Cromwell in 28mm you will need something like 6 feet by… I don’t know 8 to 10 feet? so it doesn’t feel too much like a parking lot, and even then it will be quite tight. the answer being yes… I am thinking about 1/300 for WWII soon enough too for travel purpose or for Regiment size operations. Also… my stick is denser than bacon >D

@blinky465 gotta love the Jim! so many hours spent on it on super nes

@sundancer damn! I am jealous great job there, always want to do it but always hitting the block because I want them great

My cities of sigmar force.  More stunties on the way

So Kirioth over on YouTube has caught my interest yet again. I saw that he’s been working on a Slaanesh force (all the cool cultists should) and he’s displayed his Knights that are absolutely grand. I’ve loved seeing such large pieces done in a way for Chaos that breaks far from the cleanliness of regular Space Marine kit.

He had a bit of a conundrum that he announced with wanting to rename and convert a Lord of Skulls model. Being the ever helpful guy I am I suggested the idea of calling the final model The Ossuary of the Eternal Orgy. Looking over the model it just screams Khorne (really just sit and look at the model and you’ll hear it). I noted the thought of using more arches like those found in the Dark Eldar Incubi armor and to retool the weapon to be like theirs. Considering the skulls plating it also might be a good idea to put on some cultists in the throes of ecstasy that are being absorbed into the demonic engine of destruction. What better way to go as your blood became the lifeblood of a thrill-killing fuck machine? Ok, it might not be “that” bad but I’m sure that if you punched the body horror element up and wanted to take on some Cenobite creativity it could happen.

Looking at the bottom portion the tank treads just need to go. In their place I suggested putting in a complete Arachnarok. A big chunky model with multiple supports and an organic feel would go hand in hand with the visuals of the rest of the force range. Take off the arachnid ‘face’ and put in some sort of rounded plate like the visor to a great helm with inset weaponry like an undermounted cannon system like on the Forgeworld Cerberus Heavy Tank Destroyer or the side mounted quad bolters for the Land Raider Prometheus. If GW lives by the code of “More Is More” then you’ve got to go all in and fully overboard with this plan.

@crazyredcoat I believe that you’ve confused the Germans with your newfound levels of kink.

@sundancer I believe that there needs to be more ‘leder, gummi und lack” for the flying furry man to make sense as to why he has anything up his rump at the moment the photo was taken. This might be that Chaos aesthetics I was writing about before peering through.

@wolfch Speaking of tanks and hitting one of my favorite anime series, John’s as well, I’ll say that I am rather fond of Darjeeling and her leadership for St. Gloriana’s Girl College (nuts to the Funimation PC translation by the voice actress). The Cromwells came out well for the photos and should prove very nice the way you’re going. I will advise that you should always beware the damn Matildas in World of Tanks at low levels or jump into them if you play the British lines.

@tuffyears The quality of models put put has really caught my attention with the advancement in 3D sculpting tech. Generally I haven’t been a fan of the dwarf models in past but these are ok by me.

Ok a bit of tankery stuff and music

War Thunder (for those OTHER tank game players)

And now for the return to 40K grittiness

@horati0nosebl0wer in some ways that’s why I prefer the Kytan. Easier to work with.

For another replacement, I do have both figures so I could look but it’s downstairs and I’m at least supposed to be pretending to work, but the defiler legs and chassis would work well. Or better yet, the chaos warshrine and have it carried by pervert slaves. It gets better and better!

@horati0nosebl0wer He is a KGL Hussar…so he IS German. I’ve lost track of how far down this rabbit hole we’ve gone, now…

@scribbs Excellent kilts, mate! I see what you mean with same start to each sett, but different final product.

Oh and I managed some cheeky time after work for painting. WIP but nearly there. Exception being the lightsabre. Trying to either pluck up courage or pick up the electric blue contrast paint.
