I never did do any heavy lifting, so if that were to get any less I wouldn’t know 😉

However since I’ve got a smartwatch tracking my walking routine I’ve discovered I can do 5 Km easily and I can rack up to 15 Km in total walking distance on a saturday as well. That last bit kind of surprised me. And even if I account for the fact that the measurements are not 100% accurate it still is a pretty good distance.

Now all I need to do is try and make an effort each day.

As for grocery shopping … I never buy more than I can carry 😀
And when shopping for my dad I’ve got this neat trolley bag thingy, which is probably the best thing ever if you don’t have a car.

I’ve been silent because I’ve been watching The Greatest Movie Ever Made, as well as The Crow and Ju-On Origins.

Also I’ve finished my base for the dragon, played a game of SPQR (I lost, although it was a close game), and have got a base of tiny men and mushrooms ready to paint.

Only doing one base for now as test. Going to paint the guys up blue with red hair.

Oh and I’ve only just started painting the dragon.

Ha, I know his love for 15mm.

I’ll actually be using these in 28mm games as Wee Free Men from The Discworld but in games of Moonstone (more as atmospheric terrain) or in Frostgrave as imps (I”ll probably base a few pics on their own 25mm bases).

Just when you think that GW can’t sink to lower depths … they manage this :

You’d think for a game set in this sort of battle and with so few figures surely someone must have been wanting to do that with the core rules, right ?

They’ve got good models that usually are easy to build.
I can only think of one thing : they are a business and really don’t care about the effect they’re having.
I think we can consider us lucky that GW haven’t discovered 3D printing as a revenue source …

I’ve been quiet as I’ve been working on a new game – you know how Myth Ball was supposed to be awesome and blow Blood Bowl out of the water, and then it got pulled and now Dungeon Bowl is out and GW has decided to show fantasy football some love? Well I got fed up with waiting for a cool fantasy football game and started building my own.

Except, of course, it’s slightly abstract and both teams play “strategy cards” while the actual character actions are carried out using AI. It might be a really terrible idea. Or it might just be brilliant. I guess I’ll have to finish it and find out….

In the meantime, the first three of the “modern” MOTU minis from October Patreon release are ready for basing

I’ve been trying not to procrastinate with school work…I was doing ok until my GIS programme just decided it wasn’t going to do what it was told and I got frustrated… 😛 I’ve also gotten hooked on the new Battle Beast track…

Tomorrow I HAVE to write an abstract about Nærøyfjorden…somehow…and make sure it’s only tied to the Quaternary…
