@pagan8th said ” I want a more realistic post apocalyptic game. One where the surivors are rich scum like presidents, politicians and billionaires who are ill prepared to survive and the objective is for the mutant cockroaches and disfigured humanoid survivors have to hunt down the rich and eat them.”

.

.

That turned DARK……..

.

So @pagan8th how long have you had this desire to “hunt and eat” Warren and Lloyd? They did sell the company and buy a country estate and a purpose hobby train depot! Selling a mega Internationally recognized IPTV Gaming Studio has to put them in your category as rich! Would you marinate them first or just cover them in mustered and season them before going to the smoker? Or were you thinking open fire pit and hand turning during the roasting?

Changes the situation doesn’t it, when you put faces to the people you want to single out and morph into something less then human.

All written with tongue in cheek ???

Lloyd would survive us all. He would just hide in his shed and nobody would go in there because the floor is still not dried XD

Never could eat ‘tongue’… the thought of it repulsive… likewise with organs… I’d make a terrible Hannibal Lector…

I was thinking people more like ‘Donald Chump’, ‘Elon Busk’, ‘Joris Bohnson’ (not their real names obviously).

And I would not consider any of the above to be members of the human race. At least two are aliens.

Eating was not the plan… too much fat on all of them. I just want those that think they can ‘buy their way into surviving an apocalypse’ to find out that they are ill equipped to do so having never done a hard days work in their lives.

Hungry Monday morning.

And let’s not forget the android. ‘Marcel Sugarmountain’

@ced1106 for me it wasn’t money. It was more like not being into pc’s to the point I’d built my own.
I started with a 80286 (turbo power always enabled :)) and more or less skipped the 80386 generation (never got into Doom as a result either).

I got into it again when Pentiums became a thing and had an AMD cpu.
I remember getting Unreal and the game being next to unplayable due to the lack of processing power, but I kind of liked it.

Oh … and I had a Dreamcast (when they were nearly gone, so I got to enjoy the final few months/year … ), because at a time I had become tired of the stupendously complicated way of getting pc games to run and wanted something that was plug&play.

(sidenote : it sucks that modern consoles are very much pc’s given that you need to install things before you can play a game. And they’ve got the day 1 patches as well … )

@pagan8th there was this boardgame called “Hate” by the website for rating people’s paintjobs, which had cannibalism as a mechanic … I think you’d have liked it. IIRC it was based on a comic book series of the same name.

Speaking of eating fat politicians :

//
I’ve spent first half of sunday just surfing the internet looking at pretty paintings and colour schemes to use as inspiration, so I only did some shopping for things I needed for the bits I need to do.
Only thing I mind is not the ever expanding joblist, but the sort of minor depression that hits me when things aren’t going the way I wanted them to. Getting back into a positive mindset takes a bit of effort, but it is rewarding in its own way too.

@limburger I think my original post has been misunderstood. Cannibalism is bad.

I just making a comment about those that think money gives them a right to survive when their life is worth no more than any other. Just because 1% of the world population has 99% of the wealth does mean they more right to live in an apocalypse… which is the great equaliser… money will have no meaning and their loyal bodyguards will no longer be loyal when not paid.

I’m aware of Hate and saw it on kickstarter. Ironically I hated the look of the game. Too gruesome for my liking 🙂

@templar007 the brothers might have sold their company, but I doubt it put them high up on the rich list… and I hate to be picky… but it’s mustard… English mustard of course 🙂

Don’t eat clowns. They taste funny.

It is Tuesday! Work has been on medium. Still looking forward to my time off in 2 weeks.

I actually did get some paint on my SW:L minis and I am closing in on having the “prepared” minis to be done. Only Old man Boba and Gar Whatshisface left currently.

Good and also morning.

After 200 episodes, a lot of beer, lemonade of all colours and coffee as far as the eye can see (I’m short sighted mind you) it’s time to thank the people who made it work. In no particular order:

Thanks @warzan for implanting the seed that let to the inception of SomeDudeOnYouTube

Thank you @brennon @lancorz @johnlyons and who ever did the live Hobby Hangout originally for giving me something to grab on to while THE EVENT was happening.

Thanks to @dignity @tgu3 @lloyd @shayott and all other members of staff, current and past for giving me material to work with.

Thanks to the CoGs and OTTers and all the other weird people out there on the interwebs that came back time and time again despite my best efforts to be a horrible host! Love you all.

Last but in no means least my deepest of thanks goes to @avernos This wouldn’t have worked without you mate. I’m really really deeply thankful for every episode you’ve been around. Same for all the other guest hosts. Ben, Nick, Ralph, Paul and who ever I forgot.

And of course I made a special video for this. And it’s not on YouTube so you all can watch it!

And now on with the show called LIFE. Huzzah! 8)

You’ve come a long way since that first video @sundancer

It’s kind of proof that you can do anything if you find the motivation for it.

Mel’s back … sort of I think :

I must endure saturday before my working work is over… but then there is no work for a week and day 🙂

Although I am moving lots of furniture around and organising my gaming stash… so that’s a lot of lifting and carrying in my week off.
