Did it involve putting on your socks and sneezing? That kind of thing happens when you get old 😉

@limburger Dishonored is one of my favourite series of video games, love the setting & love the gameplay.
Did you read the 3 novels? I enjoyed them quite a bit and all written by the same author. The last one is set after Death of the Outsider.

I’ve actually started playing The Knife of Dunwall trying to go through it all without being spotted or killing anyone, it’s the only one I haven’t ghosted.

@sundancer I hope you aren’t in too much discomfort. Ive pulled my back several times, and yes once by sneezing, and it’s horrible.

    Backs are really badly designed.

@demonsub it’s not too bad… but I can’t really turn my head right… so basically looking forward is all I can do atm.

@demonsub I’m not a fan of novels based on games because when I’m done with a game I’m literally ‘done’.
Didn’t play ‘knife of dunwall’ (or any of the DLC) for the same reason.
I know I did the first one in both ‘high chaos’ and ‘low chaos’ versions, but because I understood what the game wanted me to do (= avoid killing to get the ‘good’ result) I didn’t go all murder hobo in the other two (maybe a few kills and reloads, but always trying to stay as clean as possible).

Besides … finding the alternate options was so much more rewarding than straight up murder.
Never mind that those alternate fates were far worse too … (like what we did to the creator of those robots in Dishonored 2 😀 )

It’s the one thing that annoyed me in the Assassins’ Creed series … for a ‘sneaky assassin’ the final kills were almost always cinematic moments out of your control and less like creative attempts at solving a puzzle, which is what Dishonored and Hitman managed to do.
