Read all of this before you start as it will save you any trouble later.

First thing you must do is make your “pledge”. It can be anything gaming related, big or small, and you don’t even have to finish it. No, in here, happiness is the road. Have fun doing whatever it is, but it is not a race. Accompany your work with pictures or we might think you are do something sinister and just using us for cover.

You are also presented with a few questions. It is to get the conversation started. Try and keep your answers ‘conversational’, no text speak, and certainly no “basically”. This is how we all get to know each other better. While you are here feel free to tell us a story, show a picture, joke, tales of love or woe, or just add your own little bit. This is the whole point…in here it is just us.

If you have never taken part before we may bark and bite, but we also like a cuddle! It is all done in the best possible taste and it is character building. feel free to give as good as you get.

A few other things to note: NO RELIGION & NO POLITICS! Glasgow pub rules are in effect. If you need to make a better point then it is fine, but don’t take the piss. And always keep it civil.

Play plenty of music to go with your work. Loud and through proper speakers. Write us a playlist of things we might not have heard before.

Now, after all of that there is only one ‘real’ rule in here and it cannot be broken: NO DICKS! (Exceptions may be made for little fighting men with little plastic/resin/metal wieners)

And don’t forget the highlights of the weekend: The Weekender on Friday and XLBS on Sunday. And the little show that is the unofficial Hobby Hangout over at twitch.tv

• Since @warzan now has decent internet hat home, who is more happy about it? He himself, because he gets to be on the Weekender/XLBS again? The team because workloads are (potentially) going down? His wife, because it gets him off the street or his kids who now can watch Netflix all day without dad yelling “GET OFF THE LINE! I need to make a skype call!”
• What is your Internet speed at home? Are you happy with it or could you use more bandwidth?

My answers:

• I guess its 50/50 between Warren and Andrea. Though she will feel the impact the most because a) Warren will be more online and b) will complain less about shitty internet 😉
• at home its VDSL with 100/40 Mbits and in the office it’s Fibreoptics with 40/40 Mbits. And more is always better but currently it’s enough.
• to the pub… getting wasted.

Cleaning up rooms always has a late negative impact on me…. dust. I’m allergic to it and now I’ve rubbed it in my eye again so my right eye looks like the eye of Sauron… only not so cool.

My pledge this weekend is to finish painting my Goblin Airship Christmas edition for Moonstone I got late last year and promised I’d paint in time for a special Christmas game this year.
Tomorrow I’m playing a 4 player game of Gaslands, introducing two other players to the world of toy car carnage.

Since @warzan now has decent internet hat home, who is more happy about it? He himself, because he gets to be on the Weekender/XLBS again? The team because workloads are (potentially) going down? His wife, because it gets him off the street or his kids who now can watch Netflix all day without dad yelling “GET OFF THE LINE! I need to make a skype call!”

It’ll be nice to see @warzan in videos again, I enjoy the certain unpredictability he brings. Also we need more Codebusters, it’s the main thing that got me on the Discord.

What is your Internet speed at home? Are you happy with it or could you use more bandwidth?

Just ran a speed test and it’s 204 Mb per second download and 19 Mb per second upload. I use fibre and yeah I’m more than happy with the speed.

Where did the last week go?! oO

It’s still there just our sense of space/time has moved on to other causality bending issues.

Question 3 Work and defrosting the Freezer after about 5 years.

My freezer auto-defrosts. All I have to do is remove a sheet of crystal clear ice from the bottom ever few months. You get a really satisfying crack when I put it in the sink and run water on it.

Goblin airship is on schedule. Doing the inflated frog first so I have somewhere to hold it.

No I need to strengthen my resolve as the dragon my mother in law and her mother are inbound for a visit.

This week’s pledge is to do the final three characters for my Celt army.

His wife, because it gets him off the street or his kids who now can watch Netflix all day without dad yelling “GET OFF THE LINE! I need to make a skype call!” – I’d guess its his wife as it gets Warren out form under her feet. Warren had probably found other things to keep him busy while he didn’t have internet, and I’d bet the kids got internet priority regardless. No doubt the team will get more emails from Warren telling them to do things now his internet is back up.
2. What is your Internet speed at home? Are you happy with it or could you use more bandwidth? – Last year we got full fibre to our house so the speeds pretty good.
3. Where did the last week go?! oO – I was away on business so the week flew by.

I’ve finished my inflated frog. It’s last year’s Moonstone Christmas model, Old Crimblesnacht. He shows up once a year and drops presents from his airship.

Instagram had just added the feature to add pictures from your PC… so it’s more useable from a proper PC 😉
