yeah … weirdos using a C when they pronounce it with a K.
celebrity is pronounced Selebrity and not Kelebrity, right ?

Got distracted by updating my Visual Studio to the 2022 version and doing a few test runs with new dummy projects.
Net result is that I can now create Docker images too, although the dummy project that studio creates neither doesn’t tell you how to connect it to a database nor tell you that the docker image used doesn’t include a database either.

Anyways … enough tech/geeky stuff to ponder for later.

Time to watch Doctor Who Fluxx (the tv-show, not the card game).

I kind of liked this episode.
You could feel all of the plotpoints forming up for the big finale next week.

All that’s missing is the Master …

So I’ve done very little hobby this last weekend. I got distracted with more video games, mainly Nier Replicant, the prequel to one of my fav games Nier Automata. Guess I’m allowed as I’ve painted a fair few minis this year.
Does anyone else suffer from hobby guilt?

Today I surprised myself by adding a little bit of paint to the latest set of Star Wars: Legion Wookies…. almost done now

I surprised myself by starting the assembly of the first few humans in the Deathzone box.

And I have to say this : they are a pain in the behind to assemble. Not quite B1 battledroid of finicky detailing, but definitely requiring patience and a calm state of mind. I do like that there are a ton of head options on all of the sprues.

Yes … there is a leaflet in the box and it has ‘instructions’ but that’s about it. They might as well not have it in there for the good it does. Probably need to read the books before I can make sense of what I’m building, but then again … I just pick what looks cool and work from there.

My new Tamiya snips that I got recently definitely made getting the tiny bits of the sprue very easy.
It costs a lot of money, but it is not expensive.  Definitely going to need them for some of the tiny bits I saw …

Yeah I was quiet surprised how much of a difference that kind of snips make. Also yes, I need a hobby saw too… It’s on my christmas wishlist for my wife 8)

Last night on the uHH I finished my Wookies… now the only thing they need is a coat of varnish. Now of to the rest of the week….

Although I do have to say that the ones I had were good enough for most things (like the average GW plastic kit).
I think they were in the Army painter tools collection. They look like no-brand cheap electronics snips. Probably a bit of hobby tax, but nothing insane. I think GW have something similar.

These Tamiya snips however are so small and sharp that I can cut of the very tiny bits without worrying about breaking or bending them, which is proving to be really useful for the Deadzone starterset and the 15mm plastic kits from Battlefront . Good addition to my collection.

I hope I can push myself to do some more hobby tomorrow, but I think I do need to do some list building/reading before I build things that are a bit too useless/overpowered.
