Wasn’t too bad minus a stiff arm from jab 1, but friends have said that the 2nd one usually hits you harder than the first so we’ll see. Shouldn’t cause me a problem when getting to the UHH on Tuesday! 😛

I had a sore arm for about six hours the first time. For my second jab, the nurse suggested symptoms might be worse the second time around. She asked if I’d had any issues following my first jab and before I could open my mouth, one of the ushers piped up “of course not, look at him, he’s built like an ox.”

    Cheeky!

My sore arm lasted about 24 hours after the second jab. So worse symptoms? Well, sort of.

You might be ok if all you had was a sore arm. Good luck!

A productive weekend for me. Managed to get both trolls painted up so I’m all set to start my next few Rangers games.
I’m pretty happy with this troll, Boulder from Moonstone.

What a great looking mini! Not just the paint, the details (those eyes!) the subtle highlighting, the nice, bright colours (it’d be sooo easy to make this look grungy and dirty) but check out that base too. Lovely work.

(his face looks like his mouth would flap up and down like a Jim Henson puppet but that does nothing to detract from a great paint job!)

@blinky465 Thanks. I think that was partially the intention with the design of this miniature, as it resembles Ludo from Labyrinth. Maybe this is what you get if all of Ludo’s hair was to fall out.

Nice paintjob, @demonsub! As for the 2nd jab it seems to be going ok. Nothing too bad so far and the bit of nausea I think I’m feeling I’ve had since yesterday and is almost certainly anxiety linked. Might be a bit sleepy later on, but seeing as I couldn’t sleep last night it also probably not the jab. I haven’t got any hobbying, done though; hit a bit of a mental brick wall there.

Lovely work @demonsub, looks like you enjoyed yourself with that one.
@crazyredcoat sorry to hear that, broken sleep patterns are the worst. Is there anything in particular flaring the anxiety? I find when I hit a creative brick wall, I just build some minis. Still feels like doing hobby but less pressure to make decisions

Don’t really have too much to build, if I’m honest. I get this way from time to time, so I’m fairly used to it by now.

In other news, Black Remnant hit their target 350 patrons and released a Bib Fortuna mini.

I’ve got Jabba and quite a few of his cronies already painted up (including a sweet Sy Snootles I kitbashed myself!) and now a hooded Luke Skywalker, 4 Gammorean guards and Bib Fortuna ready to go on the resin printer. I might just do some work on Jabba’s Palace this weekend….

One of the first things I painted with contrast paints, last September. It’s going to be a pretty sweet diorama when I finally get all the characters assembled on some styrofoam….

Refusing to get a 3d printer is like putting off a sneeze. You know it’s going to it’s going to end in a noisy, messy, eruption so you may as well succumb and put everyone out of their misery 😉
