A lull in the gaming calendar allowed me to blow the dust off another under used collection of figures. This time it’s my 28mm AWI British.

All Perrys Miniatures (some plastic but mostly metal) who doesn’t like a good old march past !

Interesting to see how my painting style and basing change subtlety over the course of an army.

Bags of pics on the blog post.

Very nice. I am afraid I have let my unpainted AWI stuff become a bit unloved while I have been building a variety of platoons for Chain of Command. This might stimulate the old paintbrushes…

Very nice force you’ve put together, are you doing an American army as well?

whats your thoughts on a gaming system to use with them?

    Hi chaingun,

Thankfully a friend has done an American force so that’s one less thing to worry about although I do plan at some stage to do some units for the other side. Got my eye on some of the early New York regiments.

Rules wise we use British Grenadier, quite old school, not particularly quick but that’s not an issue for us as we have a full time set up. They work in a similar way to the Napoleonic and SYW rules we use as well which makes life easier.
