I hadn’t seen this before today, but Black Library are (re?) releasing The Imperial Infantryman’s Handbook. I’ve heard of this book and as a guard fan was keen to take a look.

You can pick one up here. I’ve got my pre-order in.

Edit: the book I might have been thinking of is the Imperial Infantryman’s Uplifting Primer – which this contains.

Crikey, that’s harsh. I happened to see it in one of the Saturday morning wargame retailer emails (I think Element, but could be any of em) so was on around 10am, possibly my first go against the scalpers. Some of this is really cut-throat eh. Not me, I plan to read mine.
