The models look good, I’m sure @h0rationosebl0wer will pop along at some point to suggest some highlights and contrasts but these are painted like I like. James Nesbitt is particularly good.

I’m not keen on the throne for some reason but I can’t put my finger on why

Thanks for the compliments @woldenspoons and @evilstu

I think I am done with them aside from maybe washing the bases with something.

@woldenspoons Could it be the varnish finish with the throne?

@mage it ‘might’ be the red. But thinking about it, yes, it could be the varnish finish. Not saying it isn’t well painted mind you, just something jars with me.

Had another look at your dwarves and I like them even more every time I look at them . Including your fabulous Gandalf. Brave choice with the blue Gray hat but you nailed it.

I checked the bottom of the varnish can and it has gone out of date. Grrrr. I need more…

Maybe the blue and red is too vivid…

Thanks man Im proud of how Gandalf came out especially. The blue hat is based more in line with the book description than the movies since it describes him having a blue hat.

Please note these are models I finished a while back and took photos of recently in better quality and in their complete forms

That’s it for the project. Thanks for reading

Anyone wanna give me feedback on how to do the bases? They could do with a shade or wash…
