Hey guys,
I got this set last summer. I quickly built and primed them but didn’t really start proper on them til maybe Autumn. They are now finished. Well, I am still looking on advice on ‘finishing’ the bases: like what to wash them and maybe hilight with.
Also, some people see some of my imgur links with a privacy thingy: please comment and tell me you can see or what you can see, as I want to make sure this plog comes up properly for anyone to read.
Thanks guys and enjoy reading.

These were all linked with regular imgur links. Please let me know how they seem 😉
Objective Markers
These do not come on 40mm round bases, I added them myself. Now their form pleases me.
I hope, assuming you can see my pictures, that my photography skills are up to scratch.

Goblin Town
Boba Fett makes a secret cameo in the last picture… totally intentional…
So, I started this as a painting project 4 months ago, doing a bunch of other stuff in between starting and finishing this.
February 17, 2019 at 5:48 pm #1350302All of the above with the exception of Goblin Town scenery were the most recent and final models to be completed in the set. Here is a finished group shot from this batch excluding the two objective markers
Now it is time to take more photos.
February 18, 2019 at 8:00 am #1350558Dwarves are looking really good @mage – well done on getting them done! I’m not a fan of the goblin models from the Hobbit range, I’ve always thought they looked like a cross between a Moomin and animated lard but the terrain in the box is almost worth picking it up for.
(privacy notice on every one of the links for me too – probably will be the same for anyone in Europe now under the GDPR legislation)
February 18, 2019 at 8:39 am #1350559Thanks @ninjilly 🙂
I have yet to get around to taking photographs of the other finished models from the set, although I have many WIP shots taken of them in bad lighting. Hopefully I will get around to it tonight.
I like the Gobbos. I did them in a ‘less white’ colour scheme. I want to get more of the Goblin town terrain but he set is expensive for what you get. Then again I do not wanna scratch build it either I want it all to look the part.
With the Privacy Notice is it just a matter of clicking on the links and you can see it?
Also do you think all the privacy notices would put people off? I do not see those on other forum posts. Probably because Im linking them from photobucket and not uploading directly.
February 18, 2019 at 9:18 am #1350569Yeah, there is a big accept button that then shows the photo or you can go in and edit your preferences for how your data is used. It is a minor inconvenience but manageable. For my projects etc I would rather just upload them here so the thread looks nicer but you do have to deal with a small file size.

hopefully a direct photo upload will help get more traffic and feedback on the thread lol
February 24, 2019 at 4:37 pm #1353308Really nice job on the throne. I’ve noticed that forums seem quieter than they used to be so anything that makes them busier is worth trying ? Direct uploads are looking good though
February 24, 2019 at 8:21 pm #1353455Thanks for returning @ninjilly it is appreciated 🙂
Are they really quieter? Thats a shame. I wonder why…
Anyhoo more to follow shortly. Might go back over my original posts and deleted the links and reupload them from my phone…
