    Hi everyone,

I am thinking about my next KOW army I will be starting in about 2 or 3 months and checking my collection for the models I am going to need.

I have a load of miniatures to make Elves (Sylvan as well), Undead or Varangur (Chaos Marauders). So I took my 3rd Edn rulebook (the green one) to check the army lists.  I also went online and checked the Mantic Companion.

I have a few questions that maybe someone can answer.

    1) Are Boskwraiths in the Sylvan Army the equivalent of Wardancers in Warhammer?

    2) What are The Fallen in the Varangur army.  They seem like very fast Ogres?  Is there a picture of them somewhere?

    3) The tribesmen in the Varangur army have a Defence of 5+?  Is this correct?  5+ is usually reserved for troops like Knights with heavy armour. The Hearthguard are like Chaos Warriors, so I understand the 5+ Defence, but the Tribesmen seem like a stretch – I am not complaining, just confirming.

Thanks in advance for any help or clarification you can offer – and I wish you all a fruitful and prosperous year.

    NR.

    1) sure they work for Boskwraiths

    2) resurrected things that have been stuffed with the souls of gargoyles. There is no picture for them currently but think of them like chaos chosen, human sized but with big weapons and they flip out like ninjas

    3) yes that’s correct

Thanks Gerry.  That was very helpful.  In that case I might go with the Elves or the Undead. 👍
