    Curious if anyone has uploaded and files for printing to Shapeways or any other provider for prototyping models looking to see how much detail the specific resins are capable of

    My brother bought some G3s from shapeways, the pics he took are more for the size and scale, but the detail is on par with the airfix guns (the M249 and the top L85) and maybe a tiny bit better than the wargames factory M16…

    Search for things like “Calibration” on Thingiverse.  You’ll find a quite a few items that will show what the different materials are capable of, as well as help you tune your printer to make the most of them.
