    …sad news indeed. I’ll forever know him as the producer of the finest “eye candy” (as he took most of the photographs for WI, as well as being the Editor), which inspired many a painting session. We are losing too many of the Hobby’s great names this year 🙁

    Sad news indeed.  His dedication and careful editorship of two of the main historical wargames magazines was a big influence on the development of the hobby in the late 1980s and 1990s.  His magazines were one of the main connections most of us had to the wider hobby in the pre-Internet age.  I shall always be grateful to him for providing my gateway back into the hobby and such amazing inspiration over the years.

    Also in sad news was Giuseppe owner and sculptor of Legio Heroica who passed away on 29th May
