    Hello All,

So just before the change over to BoW2.0 I started a Plog.  I decided to restart that, but not as a Project as it will be a huge variety of miniatures, game systems and genres.  The only way i would view it as a project would be clearing my hobby back log!

So hopefully this will be a good place to share my painting.  I will post the majority of photos into the WAYPN thread as well, but this will be more in depth about my thoughts and stuff.

    Thanks for visiting.

So just before the change over (literally that same day) i posted some progress on my Female Bounty Hunter for necromunda.

Well I have now finished her, and am quite pleased with the way she turned out.  From the original colours of too much green I managed to salvage her back to something I think ties her in with the rest of my Goliaths, but keeps her separate.

While the BoW were down, I started to paint the Water Guild Bounty Hunter.  I wanted to keep in theme with the steel, bronze/gold, green and spotlights of red.

First I started with a leadbelcher spray, wash of nuln oil and agrax earthshade, then dry brush of necron compound. Then the gold was painted with Balthasar gold, agrax earthshade wash, then a dry brush of necron compound, then washed with Seraphim Sepia to make it more gold.

Next I painted the green cloth to match the goliaths. This is VMC Military Green, washed with Secret Weapon Green Black Wash, then VMC Uniform green, VGC Escorpena Green, and finally VMC Yellow Green edge highlights.

Then i completed the flesh, red and water in the vessels.

Then just the base, glued it together and done!

I have also painted this bulkhead for the models to stand in front of for photos, as before they had to use infinity scenery to pose next to!

On it i have tried to do some OSL on the bulkhead light to give it some character, as well as some light weathering.

This final picture brings me up to the present. I have started to paint my necron immortals. So this is the new army i have started, and is going to be turquoise and gold, with green energy weapons and items. Some may remember my scarabs, that were the test models.

So far all i have done is spray leadbelcher, wash of nuln oil and agrax earthshade, dry brush of necron compound. This has been followed by blocking in the other major colours so that i know where they are going. I want this to be a fairly fast army to paint as i am hoping to use them in a small ‘tale of four games’ type campaign with some friends.

Not sure what my first 500 points will contain, but these are the start!

Seems a shame to give that Water Guild hunter that hat , it hides so much of that awesome paint job on his face / head .

Great to see this work continuing, and I have to say I love all the “sloshing” liquids in container effects.

@mage thank you. Actually i’ve only recently (last year) started getting back into GW. I feel out with them a long time ago and moved on to playing games I think are still a lot better (Guildball, Infinity just to name two). However they seem to be what people want to play at the moment so i just go with the flow.

@a27cromwell yes it does, i was in two minds about it to be honest, i still may take it back off. You are right the face is way better than the hat.

    @davehawes thank you.

Not much progress here really, just finished off the VMC Uniform Green Coat, then did the bases. Lots more work to go on the green, gold and turquoise yet.
