Oh my giddy aunt, reaper bones 5 has gone nuts only been open a short while and already past $1m.
October 2, 2019 at 8:47 am #1443083it’s a great value for money but delivery is in 2021 and nobody has that much time to wait. I find myself unwilling to wait that long for such generic things.
I’m sure they will make a buttload of money again 😉

You don’t have at least a year’s worth of miniatures that need painting? 😀
Still waiting for them to add more mini’s, but they’ll have their 50 1″, 20 2″, and 10 even more inch bases again.
October 3, 2019 at 6:38 am #1443410Cred1106 depends if you have backed any kickstarter before or if you collected minis for years, myself I have done both there is no end in sight for my painting queue now.. If I pledge for this it will never end
October 4, 2019 at 9:12 pm #1443806I am trying to pledge for the core box, but having trouble getting my pledge completed as it keeps not Loading the last page. Anyone else having this issue?
on a lighter note, I am going in for this as imagine by the time I get this that my kids will be old enough to paint, and some of these (boulderkin, kid adventurers, animals and kobolds esp) look like they could be good Initial models to paint up after soap washing. Can anyone advise if this sounds like a good idea based on how difficult, fiddly the models might be even if one-piece plastic?

Don’t sweat it. Liquid soap plus water works just fine. You will want some boiling water (no, don’t boil them on the stove like some videos show) to unbend stuff. Reaper may ship the medium-sized miniatures unassembled, which makes the mold lines MUCH easier to clean.
October 5, 2019 at 11:54 am #1444044October 20, 2019 at 6:28 pm #1449017Still going strong, past the £1.6 million ($US 2.1 Million) with lots of sg reached, including core set add ins, extra add ons, the Asian and dungeon dwellers expansions complete, plus deep depths, Greek and undead pirate expansions started. Lots to see and dip in and choose from, and still time for more to come. Check it out at:
i am going in at core set so far, with the boulder kin, kid heroes (2 different sets), stained glass golem and cat people as my favourites so far though there 133 in core set so far and more to come.
October 24, 2019 at 1:08 am #14500149 days left to get a hold of some great and affordable miniatures.
October 24, 2019 at 4:58 am #1450024I am hooked by the Greeks not to mention the Troll Bridge. I will have plenty to paint while waiting for delivery. Might even get the Bones 4 stuff done by then.
October 25, 2019 at 8:33 am #1450257Could not resist the temptation ……..but have lessened the impact by only pledging a small amount to start with, this may be a fatal mistake in the long run now that the core set has been split up into different bonus sections.
October 25, 2019 at 2:34 pm #1450388With every Bones KS Reaper delves deeper and deeper into minis that will never actually get played. I mean seriously, crocosaurus? Small tree-people, endless animals, boulderkin, kid heroes, spell effects, a dragon wolf, a “thing in a well,” this is stuff that will never see the light of day for most buyers. Sometimes I think Reaper sits in Texas and asks, “How do we troll these Kickstarter folks with the dumbest minis possible? Will they push the KS over $1 million for our umpteenth Storm Giant?” And the answer is clearly Yes. Even the playable minis just look like slight variations on the same sculpts they’ve been pushing since Bones 1.
I can understand collectors collecting, but people are deluding themselves if they think 75% of this pile is ever going to be useful enough to hit the table.
