Is it possible to have an admin change my profile (account) name?

Account names unfortunately cannot be changed.

You can change your display name in your profile however.

Where would I find that? The only thing I see I can change is my real name which doesnt seem to affect anything

The Real Name entry is your Display Name that is shown on forums etc.

I changed mine and it still displays the account name it seems.

nope, I changed my name to Squirrellord and it seems to have defaulted to my screen name thing.

I think if you do change your name in the profile, the original username still gets used in the forums.
