I paint my plastic heads separately because I can get a better result without any obstacles in my way. So next time you paint up plastics may I suggest that you paint the heads separately and then attach them, you may like the results ?
Nice work but the topic title triggered all 80s toys add in my head simultaneously XD
“batteries sold separately”
“vehicles and figures sold separately”
“he-man and battle-cat sold separately” XD
Lol
Ive never understood why people dont do that as standard.
One tip i have is to get some 4-6mm brass tube, chamfer one end of it, and use it to make little disks from masking tape, then you can stick them on either surface you will glue, and when your ready to attach just peal them off and have clean plastic/lead to glue too without primer and paint in the way of a good bond.
I’ve never understood why people don’t do that as standard.
Because nobody tells them (newbies), that this is an option when there TFM come with separate heads. And when they start with one-piece casts (or casts where the head is on the body) then it never occurs to them later when they have the option. 😉
