Good catch.  The right hand failed to print.  Thats the hand of a mantic ghoul which was holding a cleaver.  I did the best I could to clean it up, but its a small part to work with.  I also broke that arm off just below the shoulder while removing the nubbin and took a small chip out of the armour  by the hand.  Resin is a tad brittle.  All the damage looks hidden or repaired I think.

@sundancer I think that you’re right but overall it’s pretty good.

@lawnor Good stuff. Half orcs still count as its a celebration of greenskins as a whole.

More work was done on the base planking and I’ll soon have updates posted to my Orktober 2020 project.

Anybody else jumping into the green goodness?

Progress! I think that the final photos really need better lighting for the project but the WIP being washed out is ok for the moment. I look forward to the water effects later.

Sweet deal to have other people celebrate this orkish of occasions. I’m glad to see the green tide run its course through the month.

I’ve started work on my firstmate and have completed the painting of the base though I might still touch up the small crab latched onto the side. I’m now working on the resin water effects and experimenting with a medium I’ve only read and watched video about. Neat stuff to tell the truth.

Is anything still happening about Orktober?

I was aiming to get a BlitzBowl team of six painted but have fallen way short. I reckon – once I’ve worked out how to paint feet and static grass the bases – I might get half of this finished by the end of the month. But a win is a win, right? I’ll be three down and only three to go…

@civilcourage Good to have seen your contribution to the green wave. Its just about to wrap up but the more the merrier these days.

@blinky465 The Orktoberfest isn’t done yet… er… we’re about to wrap up. Eh, its been fun to see other people throw their love of the verdant masses ad the random bits to the horde.

Good to see the BB team doe. Are those just contrast paints?

Contrast for the “blocking in” then lots of edge highlighting and freehand details – the contrast between colours is much greater in real life, my phone seems to have toned it down a bit!

Done… I’m going to shut myself away for a bit and take a nap
