OMFG! KDM 1.5 KS Update #83 just blew my mind!

Woke up this morning to two KDM communiqués. The usual Black Friday sale email and a 1.5 KS update. Haven’t got to the sale yet. Too engrossed in the update – so to summarize…

New 1.6 update pack, through Wave or store delivery.

Some backers have bits coming sooner as Wave 3 breaks into wavelets.

Wave 3.1 has a few items, mostly pin-ups ( not my thing) and new bases.

Wave 3.2 has the Gamblers chest – and wow, this looks like it’s been worth the wait for mid 2021. Too much to detail, but this is now a significant set of expansions with new gameplay mechanics and new monsters to put into your campaign mix. Far more than initially hoped. I’ve been scrolling through the update for an hour so far and I think I’m almost there…

Anyone else seen this and are feeling the call of the darkness pulling them back in?

I will admit I did a silly thing this morning and bought KDM 1.6 core set.  It actually worked out cheaper after shipping(£277) than if I’d bought 1.5 before the shipping (£300 I never knew what shipping was going to cost for that), although customs have yet to lube up and give it to me hard and Brexit will likely join in without lube.  if you’ve been interested for a while today seems to be the day to buy in, although shipping ont happen until may at the earliest.

@lawnor – were you able to select the UK store? If so that should remove customs concerns (assuming you’re UK based of course).

I picked up a couple of smaller add-ons from the UK store and have ordered the 1.6 upgrade through the KS PM along with the Campaigns of Death book/expansion. Should have gone for more originally, but at least I’ve spread my spend over a few years this way.

I did not see that as an option and I cannot see a way to check through backer kit.  They took my shipping address so i’d hope it just works it out from that.  Now I’m concerned.

Oh – I assumed you got 1.6 through the store with the option of selecting which store (though now sold out there) so through Backerkit you’ll probably still need to pay for shipping.  I think they’ll still distribute to EU from the UK but may split to UK & EU distributors going forward to avoid Brexit customs issues to recipients.

I’m not convinced they ever had stock.  Don’t think they’ve made any yet.  I logged in to buy befor I got out of bed this morning and it was out of stock.  Pretty sure its preorder only through backerkit at this time.
