Odd looking bases but at least they are square! 🙂

    #1785912

@sundancer I painted up these a while ago and my friend couldn’t decide what size base so I just used thin plastic and cut out 1inch square.

Finished this Rocketeer ? I need to find some acrylic rod because I don’t want this metal rod sticking out of his chest.

So, I’ve just about finished the first group of figures and here are some pics on a play board base. I’m happy enough. First time using contrast paints almost exclusively, although I added other paints for highlighting some things and more extensively on the Solomon Kane figure. But overall I’m happy with the result.  Now on to the next group of figures, which I hope will go faster as I get to understand the way these paints function.IMG_4012IMG_4013IMG_4014IMG_4015

Next batch are base painted with some attempt at Zenithal (spelling) highlights. I also added some additional white dry brushing, so we’ll see where that gets me!

Another 1.5 hours, so I’m catching up!  But that’s it for today. Some basic contract paints laid down and iron work for the soldiers started.
