Great mini, though the handle of the hammer looks quite short.

? – that’s because Loki messed with the Dwarves when they were making it to screw with Thor – TRUth

I thought the handle looked short as well. I don’t really see how Loki messing with it would need it to be so short, I mean nobody knows how long it was going to be otherwise so adding a little extra to the haft wouldn’t have hurt.  Also looking less like the one from Marvel films really wouldn’t have hurt either

It’s a shame because the hammer is such a key part of the model and it sort of lets it down a bit.

Loki was playing two dwarven smiths off against each other getting them to compete to see who could create the best gifts for the gods. Loki tried to cheat and transformed into a gnat to sting the smith’s apprentice as he was pumping the bellows. Consequently Mjolnir’s handle is very short because it got burnt a bit in the flames and the smith had to make some adjustments.

This version of Thor is pretty close to his depiction in folklore although he’s also described as being barefoot and with a basket on his back.

was gonna bitch about the length of the handle on Thors Hammer but after hearing Loki was up to his usual tricks, that’s kinda cool. Sod Marvel!
