Modular Terrain

I used some Sarissa MDF, some Woodland Scenics palm trees and some resin rocks and termite mounds from Warlord Games to make a few terrain pieces.

Those Sarissa MDF area terrain packs are really good value, alas they seem to be “hidden” in the webstore (I’ve only found them twice by accident). Worth paying the little extra to obtain pieces that are going to be durable on the gaming table. I must admit I got all mine by buying the area terrain for Gate of Antares from Warlord (Space Onions), but I would say if you DO find the item on the Sarissa Webstore, BOOKMARK IT for later.

Although Sarissa terrain and building come unpainted and are a bit more “basic” than the offering from 4Ground they do benefit on being of a larger footprint (most of the 4Ground houses have the footprint of a single room (to scale), and being a bit cheaper. Thus they are idea for doing a bit of kitbashing with card, bit’s of plastic etc.

Alas they don’t come with the MDF bases that the other sets do 🙁 Just spent 1/2 an hour trying to “refind” the basic MDF sets again from the Sarissa site (I need another 3 packs) to no avail….I just can’t work out where they are hidden

Yes it is on hold. But they said they think about a restart of a tree line. The company had some troubled times.
