    @lloyd – it was tested and it did work. Some colours were obviously better than others. From memory the blues worked well, reds less so.

    The scale 75 grey primer looks exactly the same colour as Halfords grey

    @khiasharisse I think GW never showed that they could work, but there are obviously people out there who tried it.
    Scale75 simply show this in their videos.

    @torros I wouldn’t be surprised if it was (almost) identical.
    The two white primers are very close to GW’s Contrast primers too.
    I think that is because those colours are just the right kind dark to be useful.
    It is kind of difficult for an outsider to know what the exact qualities of these primers are that makes them so “special”, because manufacturers aren’t telling us.

    I was watching a vid the other day where someone primed in blue and zenithed in white and used contrast paints on top

     

    Is an old inking method but the result looked good
