Good afternoon!
I’m Matteo from Durgin Paint Forge and I’m sorry that my first topic in this forum is about one of my projects, I’m always a bit embarrassed to promote my miniatures without knowing before the community, so please excuse me!
I’m here because I think you may be interested in our current Kickstarter campaign, “The Second Government of Inneath”
We have launched the campaign this Monday, and you’d probably read something about in the latest news here on Beasts of War (these guys have been always great with us, sharing our projects, thank you again!), and I’m here to tell you more about this range of 32mm miniatures that we are funding in these days.
The range consists in 20 characters designed to represent the main and bigger nation of our fictional fantasy world: as you may see, we took inspiration from the Napoleonic Age to design them, trying to mix together several French/English/Italian and even Serbian influences in our style. The range is divided up into 3 regiments: Bluecoats, Redcoats and the Ministry Against the Secret Knowledge.
The Bluecoats are the Navy of the Second Government, soldiers-explorers that sail across the seas of Inneath in search for new lands and resources to claim in the name of Mankind.
Redcoats are well equipped and specialized soldiers: in time of war they form the ranks and files of the Second Government armies, but in time of peace they work mainly as specialized support to the Bluecoat Regiment.
The Ministry Against the Secret Knowledge is a secret and shady organization that deals with the dirtiest affairs, that kind of things that has to be managed efficiently, but not publicly. They are the Mavericks of Mankind and nobody knows who’s behind their masks!
We worked hard to design these miniatures and we are happy about how the campaign has been welcomed by the community in these first days of funding, but we need more backers to make the range grow, unlocking new features for all those who are supporting us in this new journey 🙂
If you think that this project could fit with your tastes and you want more info about, take a look at our Kickstarter campaign and if you want to support our project but you can’t directly pledge one of our bundles, please share it with your friends!
Thank you for attention, obviously if you want to know more about this range directly from us, feel free to ask here in the comments (I like to talk XD).
hello and welcome, don’t be embarrassed to show off your own stuff. We liked it so much we mentioned it in last Saturdays show.
Good luck with the campaign
Ahahaah thank you! I’m glad you liked our campaign, in the meantime following the suggestions of many backers we re-organized the Stretch Goals lists, adding three new SG u_u
I’m only undecided whether to sculpt a pug with a necktie or not u_u
PS: Only one humble question…what is exactly the Saturday show? u_u”
It’s the weekender show we do,
but I realise now that we didn’t talk about it in the show, but I was talking to Ben about it early this week for a news article here https://www.beastsofwar.com/kickstarter/durgin-beautiful-inneath-miniatures-kickstarter/
sorry about that, old age is making my memory fuzzy 🙂
uh got it!
Well, I’m really thankful to the Beasts of Wars staff: they always shared our projects since the first KS campaign, and for sure it helped a lot to reach more and more people! Actually, I noticed that during the last years is always more difficult to promote this kind of projects, because social media made everything so much dispersive u_u
I love more forums, because I think that in forums there is still more will to communicate and interact (I’m not a fan of “like system”, I would prefer to directly talk with the community!).
As you see, I’m an old grumpy Dwarf XD
