    Hi!

    Is this mandatory? 😉

I am an old hag from Germany, married, currently playing Freebooters Fate, KoW, Saga, Frostgrave (soonish also Stargrave) – interested in many more, but husband is keeping me back 😉

    No, but yes, but no.

Willkommen im Haus das Verrückte macht. Please have a cookie and a coffee and don’t tap the glass. It scares the regulars. Also tell your husband you could be buying shoes instead…. that is less expensive but takes up even more space.

Hi Palindra, I see you’ve made your way from the KoW Forum to our little corner of the net.

Welcome on board, and feel free to make us all feel bad by showing off your awesome work 🙂

So what @avernos is saying @palindra “make a project and some battlereports and we’ll be looking at it and seeking every tiny mouldline” 😉

I’ve not seen a mould line on any of her current work to date.

Hallo to all you merry computer folks and to you handful of others.

I have no idea what this is about and have recently learnt that computers exist. All hail the iPhone! Without which I could not participate in this stuff or make sure my Chinese overlords are satisfied with my activities.

I’m Jason, married with two daughters and been strategically making wood shorter for 18years now. Running my own historic carpentry and construction business in RAF Welford (but it’s all American on the inside?) Newbury, berkshire Uk for 10 years.

I love Warhammer fantasy, dungeon saga and sneaking as many lord of the rings miniatures (well Uruk hai) into as many places as possible.

Im also obsessing over finding as many sneaky secret wargamers around me as possible. We are tucked away in the oddest places afraid to say to people. I found a plastic crack addict 4 doors down in the army, and I suspect an engineer round the corner is spraying up models! I’ve been on my front grass spraying up minis to try and fish his attention but alas he is yet to bite! Also found a primary school Mum friend of my wife’s looking at my collection mumbling ‘yeah yeah, I didn’t know people other than my husband did this stuff……..’

Welcome Jason, you’ve found the right place for sneaky wargamers. Isn’t it always lovely to discover *someone else* also pushes miniatures around a table and gets paint on their thumbnails every now and again? I’ve been going to local jam sessions and open mic nights and only after three years did I discover that the heavily tattooed bearded hairy guy who batters the drums with a ferocity that could split the sky, also plays Eldar. It was both a thrilling and disappointing discovery!

Keep fishing. Someone will bite, eventually. If only out of relief that they are not alone in this world… 😉

    Hi All,,

I’m Blair, currently live in Peterborough, UK, I’m am 55 and work in warehousing for the other German retail chain.

My gaming journey started 35 yrs, playing D and D at various postings while in the Military, then not really doing any gaming for a lot of years due to most of time re-enacting ACW and WW2. Then got into 40K with my 2 stepson, 1 doing Imperial Guard, the other doing Space Marines and myself doing Orc and a bit of tyranids . had a dabble into Warhammer fantasy starting a Empire Army of Stirland if memory serves me right. lost interest as not good experiences while trying learn the game. So had a long break again and due to sad cercumstance at the beginning of last year, I fell back in to modelling/painting models again, was a bit naive about what else was out there, so being mainly a painter discovered youtube and painting tutorials and joined the DRPA and my eyes were opened, so now into Wild West Exodus, Mantic models and Malifaux and think skirmish games are the way to go, as don’t want to do large armies. So looking to learn these games, but thanks to OTT have discovered Deadmans Hand, so looking into this aswell, as a big Wild West fan and discovered is played at my local club. Hope havn’t bored you to much.

    cheers Blair
