This thread seems to have slipped me by…I guess that’s what happens when I go AWOL at random intervals…

Name: George (I get used to being called crazy even by people who know me in person, though)

    Spawn Date: ’91

    Status: Questionable

Location: Arse End of Nowhere in Canada (but an Ex-Pat Briton)

    Occupation: Geology Student

Current Games: (ignoring not having played for a literal year due to The Event…) Age of Sigmar, 40K, Bolt Action, Black Powder (at least I collect), A Song of Ice and Fire (haven’t had the chance to play yet), Warhammer Underworlds (or Shapespire, I lose track of the names), and then a random collection of stuff lying around here and there.

So I thought I too should introduce myself/us.  I am Glynis (short fat elderly one) married to Gary ( tall, greying bearded one) with son Alasdair (very tall skinny sensible one)  whose partner is Harriet (slim pretty artistic one). Gary has been playing everything from Historical to Sci Fi and Fantasy, Role Playing and board games since he was in school. He took me on our first date to Halifax Wargames Club and I have been hooked ever since, our son has been playing since he was old enough to move figures around and Harriet found herself indoctrinated as soon as they started going out. Although to be fair she prefers painting and board games.

    Location Scarborough North Yorkshire

    Occupation Costume Maker/Analyst/Civil Servant/Civil Servant

Current Games plying: Beyond the Lily Banners, Rangers of Shadow Deep, Jaws of the Lion, Roots and Stargrave.

    Too much nformation?

@hughesfamily – from your description, I’m sure I’m not the only one wondering if we can be adopted? I’ve three sisters and all of them agree my playing with tiny plastic men is ridiculous (both growing up and now, decades later). My wife has no interest (but at least appreciates the effort in painting the minis) and the only member of my family who *did* show an interest was my nephew (who has since grown up and discovered beer and girls).

I need a new family! Not envious at all 😉

    Oh, and welcome.
