A friend of mine bought Operation Crimson Stone. My understanding of Code One is that it is a cut down variant of Infinity which plays fast and isn’t too tricky to pick up.

I am new to playing Infinity and I quite like the Haqqislam faction but they do not appear to be available for Code One.

Should I buy a Haqqislam starter force and somehow shoehorn the faction into games of Code One or should I wait until a Haqqislam flavoured Code One starter box is released?

Code One only currently has support for a limited number of factions, Corvus Belli appear to be gradually releasing Code One equivalent faction rules over time, so far Haqqislam is not there.

The drawback is that the CodeOne Infinity army builder has no points/details on any Haqqislam units, meaning you can’t calculate a 15,20 or 30 point list.

I assume they will release a Haqqislam faction pack eventually but currently you can only field the following factions:

    Panoceania

    Yu-Jing

    Combined Army

    Ariadna

    Nomads

    O-12

You might be able to work out rough points but some of the extra features and skills main Infinity provides are excluded from CodeOne play, just to make it less complicated.
Fingers crossed they release it soon!!

That is a touch disapointing, I was afraid that this might be the case.

Fingers crossed there will be some positive news from Corvus Belli in the the New Year.

It’s quite likely Haqqislam will get Code One rules, they said that theiy wanted all factions to be playable in Code One.

Another thing to consider is that the factions that are in Code One don’t have access to the whole miniature range, the Combined Army in Code One is more or less juts Shasvastii.

Code One is definitely designed to be beginner friendly – my 12 year old can handle the rules with help from me – most of the time! I think the only 2 factions not yet released is Aleph and Haqqislam – so maybe that will be in 2022?

Although there has only been two “start pack” releases to date, they were approximately a year apart.  Therefore it’s not unreasonable to assume that 2022 stands at least a small chance of seeing Haqqislam and Aleph rules for Code One..

Has AP said anything about if and when these might be available individually. I have absolutely no interesting in purchasing sets of paint, but would straight away pick up the colours I need most.

    Thanks for the update.

At least I will have plenty of time to save up for the starter pack, September is only 9 months away!
