    Does anyone like my truck?

    20190724212652_1

I am half-way to my first delivery, but I am a real shitty trucker. There is a hitch-hiker in there with me…for soup! I rolled the trailers during the last delivery attempt. I suck at video games.

@unclejimmy Wow! Great graphics. You need a ZU-23-2 mounted behind the cab.

@limburger – I know what you mean about the temperature today. I think next time I am in Glasgow I will wander up to Kelvin Grove Park and hoof the statue of Lord Kelvin right in the boaby.

Can you resist going to the PO tomorrow? You know you want to go…

Mr. H looks so very young. Even compared to when he was in ‘Blade Runner’. When I was at senior school I had a friend called Simon. We loved scf-fi and 2000ad comics. When BR was released we went every day for the two weeks of the school holidays. (excluding weekends) All the way back then in cost £0.85 if you were under 16. I really, really, really don’t like women that smoke, but that red lipstick had a long lasting effect on me.

Have you ever seen Clint Eastwood in ‘Rawhide’? He looks about 13!

It is supposed to be much cooler tomorrow. It has gone really dark here over the last 20 minutes…maybe thunder a bit later.

@cpauls1 – i’m surprised nobody has made a mod for that! You can have BTR-80. Great for rivers. A mod for that vehicle is some Russian troopers on the top.

The engine sounds very real too.

I gots to work tomorrow and it’s not going to be much cooler … so I think I can resist.

Never saw rawhide, but seeing any actor at the start of their career can be amazing.
Like when Jim Carry was in Deadpool (the Dirty Harry movie). He’s only got a short bit though.
Charles Bronson also looked kind of young in his early movies … although you could tell he was going to get lots of groves on his face back then already.

All this talk about rawhide makes me think of this :

And while the sequel was kind of bad … they still got a few good songs :

@limburger – I never got the hype about Blues Brothers.

@unclejimmy I never got the hype either, but it was a fun cheesy movie.

Well, 45 minutes of listening to the Smashing Pumpkins and trying the fill the gaps in some MDF bits and i’m ready for bed. If it stayed hot we were just going to sleep in the garden, but the air has cooled very quickly and I smell a bit of thunder in the air.

I hope everyone is going to be well rested for tomorrow. Time to get back into form and get this running as it should.

I always loved the expression on the gunner/organist. This is from the Warhammer World special display room.

…if not rapture then she cut an air-biscuit and got a waft? Either that or a Plague Marine threw a ‘Guff-Grenade’ at her. No saving throw.

@rasmus – oh, way ahead of you! I have been looking at some 1/35th ‘gun trucks’ and some photo-etched mini-guns.

There are some way bigger trucks in the game. There is the Maz 537 (I think) that is a beast of a truck. Doesn’t stop me rolling it off a hillside like a total strap-on. Maybe i’ll do some other screen shots. I really do fancy building some models of these trucks. They are very masculine! Well, they are Russian.

Not only Europe have a heatwave 9:35 and still 25C outside, I know as I am waiting for herself- and getting harried by 80s music

I’ve heard about these “Heatwaves”. 42 Degrees is pretty standard here but I imagine it’s a fair bit of a shock for you guys in Europe. Let me know when the roads start to melt that normally comes at around 40ish Degrees.

As for Hobby I managed to get the Webbing done on the rest of my Paras that brings them to almost 1000 Points done. (I’m using the old rules since my minis don’t have new rules so working off 100 being equivalent to 2000).

Also learning to use an Opensource Photoshop Program by making Valour and Victory Tokens.
