I saw this linked through FB and have decided to back it – it seems to offer an unusual level of configurability for a pretty decent price. The quality of the pre paint texture is also new to me for MDF. It really looks amazing for such quick builds. Delivers early 2021.

Thanks for posting the link – that’s what I thought I was doing but it seems I linked only the video.  I particularly like the Pro Texture – I haven’t seen that before.

You’re welcome. When i initially posted the link i also posted the video (again). For some reason the webpage that Kickstarter links to from search results produces a video link when copied and pasted.

Do you know you if 4Ground done something like Pro Texture?

No the finish on 4G is similar to the basic texture (at least in terms of design) on this product. It’s the pro texture that made me decide to back it. It looks like a printed layer bonded to the MDF.

Modularity looks good. Prices seem about the same as 4Ground.

There is a new update on the kickstarter today that explains that the texture effect is achieved by physically etching the MDF using a stone pattern. So the texture is real, and not as I thought, a bonded image. It looks innovative.
