    @evilstu – great work on the Reaper Bones frost giant.  Man, the shadows and dark washes in that white beard must have been rough.  And I like the Napoleonics!

    @a27cromwell – I like the late war FJs and the KV-2 wreck.  Any excuse to put one of those on the table!  And damn, I  like the King Tiger with the tank riders.  Right out of that footage yo see of the Battle of the Bulge!  They still have one in front of a hotel at La Gleize, where KG Peiper was finally pinned down and destroyed (ran this battle in Panzer Leader for the 70th Anniversary series of Battle of the Bulge way back in Dec 2015-Jan 2015).

    @elessar2590 – amazing detail on that chainmail!  And of course you know me.  Any historical US Marine is gonna get a big smile out of me!  😀  And no worries re: the insomnia – at least it was the productive kind – I really did get a metric f***-ton of work done this weekend.

    @mage – I like the table.  Are those gem stones to track health or magic or some such?

    @dawfydd – Great 40K figures.  Damn, that is a serious-sized chainsaw sword that guy carries.  Can he cut open tanks with that?  😀 😀 😀

    Glad you’re having a great weekend, @irishsteve – and damn, that yellow glow effect on the KD minis looks amazing!

    @sundancer – I like the scratch-built gun tower!  I love just about anything scratch-built, IMHO.  “How many guns do you think, Gold Five? ” – “Say about 20 guns, some on the surface, some on the tower!

    Thanks everyone for the kind words on the M48A3 Magachs.  The killer there was the hand-painted Hebrew lettering for the tactical number.  The rings on the barrel denote battalion, the chevron is the company.   The “N” -ish symbol is the platoon, the number, of course, is the individual tank.

    Good morning everybody. It’s Monday moan-ning (07:00 am over here) and I still try to wake up. But the first PCs are running, clonezilla is doing stuff and I enjoy your hobby output. Onwards! To coffee!

    @oriskany I like scratchbuild to. It’s sort of “advanced LEGO” and you can add things as long as you want 😉

    Ive seriously had to recharge my batteries over the last few days. Some of my deliveries arrived which is great: AoS General’s Handbook 2018, AoS Objective Markers, bases, Arcworlde minis (Ossburd Cavalry and 2018 Captain and Scribe) with some cans of spray paint (Chaos Black and Zandri Dust) coming in the mail.

    Finished a mini, did some assembly and sorting through some other stuff. I did not complete my weekend objectives but working on it now. Having some serious chillout time at the minute before hitting hobby before bed.

    Helped my friend with his Star Wars Legion Rebels today and they are 60% done. It is his first army and we are doing it to a decent tabletop standard. He hasn’t really done much in the way of hobby before that. He is enjoying it and not too bothered at the amount of time disappearing into the ether and paint, which is great. The weather was too bad to spray his Storm Trooeprs and AT-STs but the rebels are coming along very nicely.

    We are keeping Luke separate as he is different enough and I thought it would be good to tear through the swathe of infantry. They look well. Not too much left to do. There’s also an Air Speeder to do but we will do that a little down the line. I want him to get used to doing infantry first as that is where most of the work is. Lots to do but a lot nearly finished a bunch. They are gonna look great.

    Working on some Arcworlde for the rest of the week. I finished a special character (dropped it when I finished him the first time leaving a great big chip on his head and had to redo it). He needs to be varnished and have grass added. I have three troopers nearly done too but the Wizard fell behind but thats ok. Pics to follow.

    Also, D&D tomorrow night.

    Watching Ted at the moment, need a laugh and a load off.

    Also trying to fight off the urge to get a Nintendo Switch.

    Heres hoping I replied to the right people, proper people, and all that.

    @oriskany

    The table belongs to @irredeemable who would be online more but his computer is screwed. The gems I use to mark if a model has activated or not, keeps it easier that way. Love your tanks. Space Fleets are looking quite well too.

    @irishsteve

    Welcome back! Where you based? What was South Korea like?

    @evilstu

    Nice Ork. Historicals look good. Loving the 3d printing. My Yarrick arrived, it is quite awesome.

    @sundancer

    Loving the terrain dude. Ahhhh Legion stuff!

    @dawfydd

    You love your marines dude. Also, for that burn, yes, they need some ice. Baby. Doo doo doo da da doo doo.

    @woldenspoons

    Crap, I forgot! Ill write it up tomorrow. Fingers crossed. Has that coy chap changed their ways yet?

    @woldenspoons Did I get you mixed up with another lad in the thread with the Infinity set and going halves? I’ve had a drama filled week with two people in my gaming group…

    @sundancer Looks good, loving it. Feeling sick?

    @mage ah yes. That was me. He’s still holding out. I’ve found some one else to split Rogue Trader with though. Having a dedicated Kill Team sounds good.

    @irishsteve glad to hear you got home safe. The music is definitely different to what I’d normally expect but it does sound like perfect painting music. Eisenhorn and Cherubael look incredible.

    10 points for the pics and questions, 5 points for the survivors

    @oriskany Wow those ships look amazing. It would be very cool to see a game recorded by BoW but I imagine Hobby Bootcamps are too packed to find the time.

    I have plans to do up a small (Sharp practice sized) force of US Marines in the First Barbary War but that will probably have to wait until next year.

    10 Points for the ships 10 Points for the Replies and 5 points for the latest article

    @mage very cool to hear about the Star Wars stuff since I just primed my First Rebel today.

    10 Points for the Replies and 5 Points for the progress.

    @woldenspoons cool link, I think I’m slowly being pushed towards buying Rogue Trader.

    5 points

    @sundancer nice progress on the Legion stuff.

    5 points

    I finished painting the army of the Dead from the LOTR Starter Set (Spray White, brush to get the gaps and a blue wash) now I just need to wait for my King of the Dead to arrive so I have a full force.

    Finally got around to undercoating my WWI Germans (1/72nd Blitskreig from Pegasus but they’re close enoguh it’s remarkably hard to find good 20mm WWI Germans) so they’re next especially sine Flames of War have the new WWI Supplement coming out in a few months.

    You know, I wish 40k had decent trench warfare rules. Anytime I read about the iron warriors and how they fight I realise how much it is missing. Plus the Tau have actual moving trenches and that would be spectacular.

    Be easier to build some real world battles in the Grimdark future then too.
