Slow work on Elves:

Gold is done, scale mail based colour and shade/wash done. Base colours for wood, leather and reds are on, reds started in some places.

skin, only the faces visible mostly done, one or two need a little more shading to pick up the details. Working on the adjacent colours will help with that.

Anywho, sleep time.

@rayzryr Good on you to actually be painting. Remeber to just kick up the contrast to snare interest from a distance. I’m having to relearn that. It makes for me stepping back from the painting bench to look and then sit down again. This week, however, I’ve slacked off with hobby stuff. I’ve cleared an MDF tournament tray of the random figures to ready the way for my 2019 pledges. I’ve primed one of my project box minis and the original Pandora crew for Malifaux for the same. I got in my horde tray from Litko and readied it for the unit of figures I’ve sat back on for a while. In general the prep for a good push in the beginning of the new year has been going on.

My hobby is on the back burner. My missus is in hospital and it’s a triffic 3 hour round trip.

I did sneak in a little walking dead for a mission I was testing but it’s not quite there yet.

As Community Usher I think I might qualify to trade in the bellhop outfit and flashlight for  a cowboy hat and laser pointer. Herding cats (such as rayzryr) is a difficult business to go about without the proper equipment.

@horati0nosebl0wer I have it on good authority that the best way to herd cats is with a thermal lead (ie switch on a heater…)
