@sundancer I’m actually a fan of Blaze Bailey’s studio work with Maiden as well as Wolfsbane and Blaze, but noone was ever going to replace Bruce and keep Maiden fans happy.  Unfortunately Blaze didn’t suit the Maiden back catalogue. but I have seen him live with Blaze and puts on a great show!

@mage Minotaurs looking good.  What are you doing with the bases?

@horati0nosebl0wer i know what you mean about bits all over the place.  The red thing in the picture below is meant to help with that.  I wear it when building stuff and anything that falls is meant to hit it and gets caught in the wee lip thing at the bottom.  Hooks onto my belt or trousers and looks stupid, but it has caught many an arm or tank part for me.  Saves the knees as I don’t have to go crawling around the floor as much!

@evilstu I want to do Naughty Dwarfs for KoW at some stage, so starting fixed up the Abyssal thing as i dropped it while organising stuff and a couple of things fell off it.  Going to work on some Arabs and some scenery for a while alongside it.  I will update my chalkboard accordingly!

Anyhow, been sorting out my Gripping Beast Arabs.  Going to try and get my Arab infantry sorted first.   The metal models are from Footsore, they are Arab Archers with Solenarion and I also have some Heavy Infantry from them as well.  I planned on using these for two games, Lion Rampant and KoW as either a fantasy human army or for Kow Historical.  I have movement trays, I can use them in for KoW.

@robert when I saw Maiden with Blaze it was… static. BB stood there, mic in his hand and moved less then Nico (the drummer, for all non-fans) the whole concert. Musically he is able to deliver his stuff, but that ain’t NWOBHM 😉

@evilstu I’d say that Last Exile would be my fave for the silver age. I do however have a soft spot for The Irresponsible Captain Tylor, El Hazard (courtesy of the AMV Hubba Hubba Zoot Zoot 🙂 ) and Excel Saga

@robert I believe you have the next need to own item for gamers/hobbyists the Bitz Catcher (with special super secret limited edition number 000 that comes in Pokemon motif with the emblazoned “Gotta Catch ‘Em All” along the side). You could set up a small Etsy shop and cash in here and there with orders.

The Arabs look pretty swanky as a departure from the European forces I normally see. I think that Hasslefree also came out with a few single Saracens that they got license from the same guy who sis their ultra modern line.

Package has been presented to the carrier … so I’m guessing a few more days, which is nothing compared to the wait since the original deadline (July 2016) and it is the oldest non-yet-delivered pledge on my list.

@robert ah I never had the Eldar expansion for SC. I’m not sure it ever released in Australia, though I did grab the Mission: Dreadnought expansion.

@sundancer GorkaMorka, proper GorkaMorka, I feel they could roll into the current version of Necromunda. I played the original version of both games, the rules were virtually the same.

Take Necromunda out to the ash wastes between hives, bring in some crazy human road gangs to clash with orks, voila!

What do you reckon? Would it work?

@evilstu KD is ridiculous! I have expansions that I haven’t even tried yet, since I haven’t actually defeated the base game, and I “have to” beat the base game before I add expansions…

Yes, I invested in Another can of spray, just for a nozzle to port between cans. I’m going to do a “spray frenzy” some time in the next couple of weeks. Then I’ll not be purchasing the Rustoleum brand cans ever again.

@horati0nosebl0wer I find that I will start with a Known, then follow a YouTube trail, sometimes AutoPlayed, along tangential aural trails. This may bring bliss or blasphemy. Such are the risks!

Was the literature written on a wall in the artists medium of choice? I feel that the information would be disingenuous in any other medium ? but thanks for the tip, I’ll check it out!

@limburger So, now I know that T20 is a thing, I have to ask… Who thought it was a good idea to take a system typically predicated on needing three  core books and anything else is more optional fluff based on this and try and fit a game that was built on the premise of every book brings in a new rule to do something new…? I’m not even surprised at the number of source books they appear to have made.
