So I know we Aussies haven’t been getting much hobby done recently. Some of you might wonder why. To help explain I got the Bureau of Meteorology to write a note on our collective behalf:

Apologies for my absence, busy with work and friends. Its hard to balance everything but I will endeavour today! Radagast is almost finished and green stuffed the gaps on my three Myphitic Blighthaulers and 20 Warriors of Dale. Also picked up another kit, finished my red crate and got two cans of spray paint.

 

Time to oversee the posts, haha. Also, give me more music and memes people! Get your hobby pictures up! Or I will use Kryptonite on all of you!

Most of my players frequently make it, but what I do is act like they aren’t there: they cannot interact with the game or story nor can anything interact with them. Its like they fade into the background. So even if they miss two or three sessions and everyone is far underground away from the base / inn / airship then they just unfade from the background. It’s the best, fairest, smoothest way to do it, but it does kinda break suspension of disbelief a tad if you think about it a lot.

Not great pictures but cratey-mac-crate-face is done, Radagast is WIP and a WIP Stormcast that is now finished but that pics is old. And possibly a repost.

I concur with numbers and boots on the ground, even with marine armies. Im not keen on armies that do not look like armies. Or a tank or flyer detachment with two groups of five dudes and no/one HQ choice.

Im imagining they are easy to paint, no offence. Have you ever tried Mephiston Red from GW? Or using Army Painter Dragon Red spray with strong tone or Agrax Earthshade?

Choice expletives!!! Was working on one of the Skeeters and dropped it. It looked ok but found that it cracked one of the wings near the base. Superglue is my friend and I will be setting that aside while I continue being productive in other ways.

Just got in an order of magnets to throw into a vehicle kit I’m working on for my brother and I’ve been pleased to set some of them already with industrial epoxy. I should have the initial bits cured tomorrow and I’ll start into the weapon options after I pull off the clamps pressing the current work. I should also be doing some work as well on a second vehicle I picked up for myself with the same loadout (pictures upon completion).

I’ll be heading to my favorite FLGS as I just got called about the replacement acrylic order arriving. I can pick up some greenstuff while I’m there to do fill in and sculpt some for the dirigible. Since I have some extra magnets I can put them on the weapon options from the KS. I’m debating on whether or not I should sculpt a new bomb rack that sits abaft starboard (look at me getting all nautical) since I got duplicate parts.

@evilstu @rayzryr I’d gladly even things out for you with the current -4.5 (rough estimate and not figuring windchill). Stay safe out there

@mage I did prime them in “Chaotic Red” but that turned out much darker than I thought. I could either strip them, buy another can of red or just add more layers and hope for the best. I’ll probably do the later since it’s to cold here to do proper priming.
