Page, the third:
@limburger Walking bandage dispensers need fancy emblems other than a bandage? It seems a little droll but it might well be effective to avoid the religion issue.
@warzan That’s howdah do it!
@mage more work done, w00t! I’ll have my Spring Clean done today or tomorrow.
@woldenspoons Since we did get the shout out I guess I can mind my behavior. As far as the music I think you might be right to have some less head rattling. I’ll toss in some goodness of an arthouse visual nature that wont blast eardrums in the audio dept. I recommend deep bass ability for full listening pleasure.
Or just the audio if you want to zone out.
May 20, 2019 at 10:21 am #1392585@mage Apart from First Strike Still Deadly, I don’t think I have listened to any albums Testament have recorded this century. I’ll check it out.
@horati0nosebl0wer that Forest Swords sounds really promising. I’ll give it a proper listen when I get a chance. As for felting, do you mean putting them into hot water to stiffen them? Never thought of that. I have tried my hand at needle felting and really want to needle felt some Ewoks at some stage but I don’t think that is what you mean 🙂 I think my next knitting is going to be a blanket but I did order a ball of wool that is described as camouflage. Depending on what it knits up like, I might knit a cover for the plastic folder I keep all my instructions in. I did try my hand at advancing my crochet from more than a chain over the weekend but it is not as easy as my sister has made it out to be!
Anyway music, Y and Z. Yob is not for everyone, ZZ Top probably is!
Apologise if I have missed anyone. I will post some toy soldiers soon!

But there has been a planet sized robot in Transformers before…
Nice music with the synthwave. Reminds me of Bladerunner and Tron for some reason. And Flashback on the NES. Kinda Ominous. I might reuse it in a RPG.
The second one is more ununsual but I still like it. 20 points for the music.
It was fun. Only did a little and bought a new game today. Is the PC version any good? I have Forgotten King upstairs to paint.
Regarding Australia and Europe, that was kind of my point too.
Tsssss….
Why were the videos taken down.
Looking forward to seeing the spring clean!
10 points for the Forest Swords track, not really my cup of tea but different.
@robert <10 points>
Dark Roots of the Earth is awesome and very worth a listen to.
10 points for ZZ top and 10 for the other video.

Okay, I will not be hobbying today and will be taking a break from it. I might change my mind later. I will still update and host the thread.

@mage that’s the only Inspector Clouseau that was funny …
Speaking of French people trying to speak English (or English trying to speak French) :
And we shouldn’t forget this one :
Need more humour :
May 20, 2019 at 6:28 pm #1392760Three more Grenadiers done…rapidly running out of bayonets in the kit, though… May have accidentally given some SMG and LMG chaps ones that I shouldn’t have…but still not really enough in the kit, from what I can see… Problematic, a tad.
May 20, 2019 at 7:46 pm #1392789@limburger Allo Allo was very funny. It and Dad’s Army were some of my favourite comedies from when I was young.
@crazyredcoat you running out of bayonets reminded me of Corporal Jones from Dad’s Army
May 20, 2019 at 7:50 pm #1392790@robert You always need more Cold Steel. I haven’t actually painted my mini of Jonesy, I only have Mainwaring, Wilson, Hodges and Pikey done.
May 20, 2019 at 9:06 pm #1392825Done done done. I vowed to get this done before leaving my house and I have. I just need to toss on a few spots og grass and the whole thing is ready to be sat on a shelf for occasional play. Ugh… finished the last episode of Game of Thrones as well before posting and its been an eventful day. Too bad I haven’t gotten much in the way of moving cleared out. I will sort that as well now that I have my little victory jump-start to achieve other stuff.
May 20, 2019 at 9:36 pm #1392834Response; page the fourth and assorted bits since (giving everyone a bit of a miss)
@mage Why do you want to make me hungry for good food? I will need to partake of yummy stuff again soon.
Yes yes, sentient robot planets that make one’s head hurt when you try to consider the implications of Transformers being essentially bugs on the back of a giant. Way too heady for a little kid to take in at the time.
Kings Landing… yep. That looks about right. As far as ruins though I’d get myself a Necromuda crew together and play through that terrain.
@warzan I’m glad to see more work on the basing that you’re revitalizing your forces with. I’m all about trying to get that through small and continued posts for what can be made for single figures. Sweet deal to see Pandora get some rework. I think that I had pinned her feet so the transfer would’ve been easy. Looks good with the ogre I tossed into the box I sent you. Now about those cuts, superglue is your friend. I’ve managed the same many times and avoided atleast a couple stitches from sealing the holes I create with the thick formula as a temporary scab.
@sundancer No pink tutus for the speeder crew? We really need more inspiration from the Toxic Avenger. It really does look good lacking that epic addition. This all just gives me more fodder for when December rolls around. *Looking over the growing list of wrongness*
@woldenspoons Battle monkeys all rivetted for a brawl?
@limburger I ended up in the reserves in the dental clinic attached to the med clinic. It was a bit of a joke with one of the lab guys then and with other field medics since about bandage dispensing. More often than not the idea was couched in the conversation around the joke “Rub some dirt on it. You’ll be fine”.
@crazyredcoat No worries about being out of pocket. Look at me trying to catch up to all this silliness. I look forward to the painting that will occur.
May 20, 2019 at 10:55 pm #1392877Toxic Avenger you say ?
Sounds like one of papa Nurgle’s boys 😉
I’d swear it is evil mutant propaganda.btw :
Am I allowed to say that “Captain America: Civil War” is terrible ?
‘cuz it is …
May 21, 2019 at 3:04 am #1392888Going to get this last Grenadier for the second section done this evening, then I might leave the other ten for later and get a Hanomag done…we’ll have to see. My bayonet issue is bugging me a tad… There should be enough in the kit to give everyone a bayonet, but there isn’t… Ah well. I’ll see you tomorrow, possibly. Have some music.
May 21, 2019 at 6:33 am #1392957May 21, 2019 at 10:52 am #1393025@sundancer I’m literally banned from asking that at work. Even on a Friday.
