    @mage yeah, it’s a Netflix/Dreamworks co-production by a lot of the team behind The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra ‘toons.

    https://www.netflix.com/watch/80103554?trackId=14277281&tctx=0%2C0%2C3d351ade-6873-4cbd-b7fb-e147cb40be44-27467987%2C%2C

    Indeedy,  the Leviathan is a Big Boi. I am thinking though he’ll get moved to my Deathwatch list as A) they lack any sort of armoured support at the moment and B) they have a stratagem that lets it deploy via Deep Strike 🙂

    POTP Screamer is… complicated. I do quite like it, far more than I would have thought from the pictures. An issue is that it’s not a straight jet>robot transformer, it also serves as the torso for a combined mode so the forearms and lower legs are quite beefy to accommodate the combiner ports. But in-hand I don’t find them so egregious and in all other ways I’d argue it’s the definitive update to Starscream’s G1 look.

    I think I’m  going to fail on the painting front for today as I’m  just not feeling it, but will take a stab at cleaning off the grainy primer from my last batch of Deathwatch 🙂

    So that went well – a simple dunking in Biostrip 20 and the primer just came away under a running tap and scrubbing with a toothbrush. These are now in the airing cupboard to dryout before I start rebuilding them….

    I did have some bits I was waiting for arrive yesterday though, so finished off some more Primaris Deathwatch,  as well as digging out my original (never painted) DW Killteam built when the metal upgrade kit was first released (and yes, that’s a set of Lightning Claws made out of Spyrer Malcadon arms…) 🙂

    oh, and an update on the Dreadnoughts – after some feedback on  the Fluffenhammer FB page I’ve decided that the Leviathan is going to become a part of the Deathwatch rather than Crimson Fists. I just REALLY like the idea of using their Teleportarium stratagem to deliver one into the heart of an opponents army (maybe with a watch Captain in T. Armour and a  Terminator squad…). I’m not completely heartless though – it’s not armed with paired Cyclonic Melta-Lances (4D3 shots, S9, -4 Armour, D6 Damage, rolling 2 dice and picking the highest at 9″ or less) 😉

    The Cyberpunk 2077 game is going to be amazing based on the preview CD Projekt RED gave at E3 :

    I hope it lives up to the hype, because damn … the way this guy describes what happened during the demo is very cyberpunk-ish.

    @dawfydd :

    Avatar was a brilliant cartoon series.
    Shame about the movie …
    And what little I’ve seen from the Korra series was pretty interesting as well.

    @limburger Korra is a top-notch show. I can highly recommend giving it a shot  (although Korra is a markedly different sort of Avatar to Aang) and what film? THERE WAS NO FILM….

    @mage funnily enough some of the folks in the group suggested that. I might see if I can fins some Fist’s iconography to fit in somewhere….

    @mage : blame the forum software perhaps ? …

    // —

    No avatar movie ?

    Like Highlander only has no sequels either, right ?

    At least Highlander eventually redeemed itself … and the sequels are kind of fun if you ignore that they’re supposed to be related to the first one.

    However there definitely was not a single good thing within the entire Avatar movie.

    @dawfydd You’ll find that iconography and do something awesome with it at some point.

    @limburger I will blaim it! For what? Highlander is getting rebooted into a trilogy.

    biggabum , nice call on the Quiet Riot and Halford / Baby Metal  duet . Its like your flipping  through my cd collection . No real work done on anything this weekend I’m afraid . Just too busy enduring  …. I mean   spending time with a daughter and 3 grandchildren . Although I did score tickets to Steve Earle & Greta Van Fleet , what great kids  . Happy fathers day to me . Plus today is my birthday as well so I managed a road trip to Calgary and picked up a Bolt Action Tiger II 3 pack and a dozen albums . So I got tunes to listen to as I clean off my bench of a half dozen stalled kit builds and start building big cats to go with my half finished German Paras

    A complete lack of sleep last night means hobby is unlikely today. I feel shattered and there’s no way I can focus on anything. Not sure what misfire with my body clock but was up well after five.

    I did spend some time organising PDFs on my computer and tablet though. I have a heap of them for RPGs but they were all over the place. I had to convert them from PDF to EPUB for my Fire, that way I can organise them properly.

    @mage

    He took them home with him but I’ll get him to send me pics once he has them based.

    @dawfydd

    Deep striking Dreads are scary. They were always a unit I struggled to use effectively. They do have a real advantage in the current edition because they don’t degrade with wounds. They’re effective right up to the last shot.

    So sleepiness strikes again. I didn’t have to convert to EPUB. I had to convert to MOBI. Much time wasted.
