Pledge can stay the same as last time… get a game in!
I’m getting fidgety and desperate.
June 19, 2019 at 2:50 pm #1406490@mellett68 good luck!
Anyway the pink plane has been pushed together, soon to be destroyed and turned into scenery!
June 19, 2019 at 3:01 pm #1406492Forgot photo…
Appropriate song…
June 19, 2019 at 5:19 pm #1406586I shan’t make you jealous by posting a picture of my 48 year old baby face … 😉
yeah, it’s tough being me. Although the girls at the cash register never asked me to prove my age when I buy alcohol. 🙁
In other news : Da Beast has arrived!
I got my wave 1 Joan d’arc pledge … and the dragon box is humongus (is that a word ? I make it one)June 19, 2019 at 5:23 pm #1406587@limburger that’s some awesome swag right there fella.
Give us an idea of what was in it.
June 19, 2019 at 5:38 pm #1406588I’ve got some storage solutions to work out before I unpack.
Maybe a trip to a certain scandanavian store is called for …*bloody hell* that thing is impressive … even when compared to a mini from zombicide it is a mighty beast.
And yes … that’s my copy of the Liber Chaotica.
I could say it is the original and you’d believe me 😉June 19, 2019 at 8:48 pm #1406604The last days have been busy for me with the gig, a 12 hour day at work, and today (sleep in, doing stuff, back to bed, night shift) but I am back to go over the thread! This will end at 16:00 tomorrow, but feel free to keep posting.
Apologies my posting and hosting have not been as good or frequent as they could be. Its a mix of life and sometimes a lack of enthusiasm kind of grinding away at it week in week out.
June 19, 2019 at 8:56 pm #1406605@mage would you like me to start the thread this coming weekend to give you a break?
This evening I have been watching TV about trains and am about to do some reading.

Answer 1: 20 points for the detailed answer as well as coffee analogy.
Answer 2: 10 points, nice answer and elaboration.
Answer 3: 10 points, I feel you. I GMed a MRQ game a few years ago and it was hard to get everyone to consistently make it (me having to drive to where most of the players lived did not help at all). I feel very lucky to have local friends who consistently make it every Thursday for Dungeons and Dragons.
5 points for the pledge. It is not hobby but I feel sad for you.
@robert <10 points>
What an odd, random, amazing thing to say about coffee/orcs 10 points.
I’m not a fan of tea either. I don’t get why Irish people drink so much of the vile stuff.
Not a fan of tea, coffee or beer eh? I can fix this…
*I’ll have to come back to the Page 5 music, not in a position to listen to it at the moment.

That would be appreciated, my son is up for his custody visit and its the start of his summer holidays so it will be for a week, not just a weekend 😉
20 points for offering. I can do that. Its crooked as foooooooook but I can do it.

Arent you supposed to use the special specific primers for contrast and not other random brands not formulated for it?
10 points for the paint job and 10 for your thoughts on it
Cant wait to see you do more experimenting with it.
@sundancer <10 points>
10 points for the video and input on the cost per litre. Its food for thought.
I cannot remember off the top of my head but I am keeping an eye on various facebook groups and watching how people experiment with them. Ive seen them airbrushed over metallic quite well.
@sundancer <10 points>
Nice 10 points. Did you take any pictures? Will you tell us tales of war and glory?
@robert <10 points>
Does instant not hit the spot like proper stuff?
10 points for the Flash Gordon reference.
@dawfydd <35 points>
Welcome back my friend, and a proper belated reply comes right your way! 10 points for taking the operation on the chin like a trooper. Even if painting is not something your up for at the moment, feel free to pop by the forums 😉
1) 15 points for the answer. What is the Carl Critchlow box? Was not aware of the Twilight night thing.
2) I agree with the answer, 10 points.

5 points for the beard. You could tidy it, or grow it to wizard length…
Do not speak the name of the evil one.
5 points for the beard. You have a ‘crazy cat’ look about you 😉
@tuffyears <10 points>
10 points for the vintage find!
@limburger <10 points>
10 points for the sacred number!
June 19, 2019 at 9:39 pm #1406611@mage the only ‘special’ thing of the primer is the smooth surface … or so I’ve been told.
It could be my lack of experience in priming, because I’m not totally convinced it was supposed to be as rough.
Maybe too much distance between mini and rattle can ?
I’ve got the ‘official’ one too, because I didn’t have a light coloured primer anyway.And based on these results I need one or else my minions will be too dark.
The underrated Colin Baker as Doctor Who on blu-ray :

I cant comment on the rattle can, maybe check out the Warhammer TV video tutorials GW did?
10 points for the doctor who ad vid.
June 20, 2019 at 5:42 am #1406634Good morning Ladies!
@mage no battle report on my last game. I only took pictures after setup an then forgot. It was an intense slaughter but I lost due to me forgetting the victory conditions and focusing on wiping out the rebel scum 😉
Rattle can…. rattle can’t…. rattle…. RATTLEHEAD! *moshes away*
