@warzan <50 points>
From one Dad to another Happy Fathers day to you. The minis are coming along great. The basing you added really augments the paint job you did. 40 points
Go on ya good thing! Do up them Primaris marines! Go on! G’wan!
@robert <25 points>
A lot of replies, responses and feedback to everyone so 25 points for the effort.
@tuffyears <10 points>
10 points for the FoW thread.
@warzan <15 points>
Interesting work with the pigment and stuff. 15 additional points. 15 for the atmospheric photography and completed shots.
@limburger <15 points>
15 points for your thoughts and opinions on the subject in the post, they were interesting to me.
Okay, less than an hour of work left. Tick tock.
Might do a tiny blast of hobby when I get home before bed and try to push my Captain ever closer to completion.
I hear the word… I am being summoned… COFFEE.
Good morning lads and … well no lasses in this thread unless I’m totally not seeing it. (Which is totally an option with me)
@warzan your tank need to shave! 😉
But since it’s early AF let me play you music of my people:
1. Mostly it’s not good or even bad. Mixing genres doesn’t really tickle me. I like on genre over another for a reason
Can you expand on the answer and site why? Conversation, points and all that ?
Constructed Bad Example: Let’s image I would play W40K. A grim dark universe wif lotz o’ DAKKA. Me like very much! What I don’t really care for is something like Power Puff Girls. Adding Power Puff Girls to 40k would (for me) dilute the fun. It would lessen the effect. And I’m not talking about using obscure miniatures as proxies or stand in or as “counts as” but as to a real rules integration. If I buy a cup of coffee I don’t want anyone to put vanilla or other flavours in it!
2. As long as the miniature is only a different sculpt (Just cosmetic) it’s fine. But when they get special rules it’s bad (pay to win)
You prefer them being alternatives but still same normal old rules? Are there any companies that do this well?
The only one I could say for sure was the Darth Vader from SW:L just now. I don’t know if most of the “GW exclusives” that pop up on store openings and conventions get any special rules. Most miniatures I see at cons aren’t play pieces at all but only fun minis to be painted and displayed.
Never play coop even no? Not your thing?
It’s mostly down to time constraints. To play coop you need more than just one additional player and finding time where all potential players can come together is… frustrating. It take so much time and efford and I don’t have much time at all. So I’m staying with “all on all” games 😉
Pledge?
I’m pledging to do my quarterly tax report. *sigh*
@sundancer even putting milk in coffee is a crime! I like my coffee like I like my orcs – black, strong and bitter!
Cofee ? Yikes … with lots of sugar and milk it is barely drinkable.
I’d rather have a cup of tea
Good morning all 😀
I had my first cup of tea in about 7 months on Saturday morning. Not a fan at all.
Meeeeehhhhhh
had my coffee and some tuna before the gym. Torrential rain this morning… I hope it dries for the gig. I’ll be back lunch time ish with my own progress
Pink Dwarfs FTW (and a bit of purple)
