    @mage yeah I’m waaay behind on the Marvel Netflix shows – halfway through Jessica Jones S2, still need to watch Punisher and Luke Cage S2 (and Iron Fist S2 is less than a month away now..). I’ll say no  more about any potential spoilers 🙂

    You hadn’t mentioned GF, but @evilstu mentioned that Wasp was one of his GF’s faves so thought I’d mention the new series 😉

    The Nomads I’ve been working on for a few years now since Icestorm got me on the Infinity train. Those particular ones I painted last year. I’ve got some more primed, in addition to what I got sprayed up last weekend.Think I’ll take a swing at them once the Knights are out of the way.

    As for Chapters, at present I have my ongoing Space Wolves project, the Deathwatch (who really just need bikers, more Primaris and some transports), what will be a Crimson Fists army just in need of some armour & transports, and then there’s the other stuff – from old projects I’ve got a decent whack of Raven Guard just in need of re-basing to 32mm, but I might strip them to repurpose with my old Raptors army. Beyond that I was thinking of homebrewing the rest but no idea what colour scheme to go for….

    Age of Sigmar 2.0 is like Michael Bay was the sequel director. Everything seems smoother and faster and easier. The endless spells are both magnificent and guano bonkers.

    I tend to find it goes much faster than 40k. I suspect because it doesn’t have all of the strategems. Command points have arrived but they seem less relevant as you mostly will use them for basic things. I like the small changes too like how it’s now harder to target characters and you can’t shoot out of combat.

    I’ve not played my Stormcast before this edition but just the fact they now have wizards is huge. Team Sigmarine Heck yeah!

    @mage I have no idea why I said it, a complete brain fart.

    Well we played our first game of Batman…. well Matty played and I just stood there taking a beating. Anyhoo Matty won convincingly. Took a few turns to work out what I was doing but other than that its a good little game, very cinematic and loads of fun.

    @biggabum good to see! Looked like a fun game, did you share where the scenery came from? I can see some came All Out War but what about the building and the lamp posts?

    Oh, sorry @mage , my bad 😛

    In that case it will be a veritable United Colours of Astartes amongst the Deathwatch. In addition to Artemis the Watch Captains are going to represent the Mentors, Blood Angels and Salamanders, whilst liberal use of the pads with sigils used by multiple chapters from the DW Vets kit, as well as some resin pads & Shapeways  kits I’ve picked up, should end up with 30-40+ chapters being represented….

    @woldenspoons Yeah the game was a blast, more fun than I thought it was going to be and should get better as we learn the rules and add in the ones we missed while we got the basics sorted out.

    The buildings came with the two player starter set as did some of the sewer covers, a couple of objectives and Matty’s dice. Two of the lamp posts and the rest of the sewer markers came from Knight Models but I think they are actually made by 4 Groound. The rest of the lamp posts and objective markers are old GW 40k stuff with some old DUST crates. and yes all bar two of the barricades and cars are from the Walking Dead game, until I can find more suitable ones. Well spotted.

    I CONFESS! HAVE MERCY!

    I didn’t do much hobby this weekend… this being my last holiday weekend for some time now I had much family time on Saturday and today I had to work… (being self employed in IT can have it’s drawbacks)

    So I only did some black bases today. Hopefully tomorrow supplies will be ready and I can close the project.

    I finished my Celestial Vindicators last year (though they are more green than torquise) but added to them since. I hope to get more headway done on the add ons this Winter. Thanks for the info on AoS 2.0

    @biggabum <30 points>

    Cool pics of the game, how are you finding it?

    @dawfydd

    Finally figured out the basing for my Polish troops in Berlin 45 . I used pieces of cobblestone plastic sheet to give the base a bit of an urban look , and added model railroad coal/cinders as rubble from the bombings . Still need o add some Plastruct plastic as steel bits in the rubbleIMG_20180812_241932244

    Still needs a wash of some kind of dust color to tone down the black , Plastruct bits as re bar and steel rubble , and maybe a dicarded hemet or two . I I think I will convert a few more Russian troops to Poles and redo their bases as wellIMG_20180812_102200838

    And then its pick up a damaged 4ground building or two and build a city diorama base for display

    @mage Well we were only really playing the very basic rules so we can learn movement, shooting and combat. How the sewers and lights work and the traits. We didnt use the funding rule for extra equiptment yet, but we loved the game. Thanks for getting us into it.

    Matty has grasped the usefulness of Sewers quicker than me, which culminated in me batcaping down from a building near a sewer and then ending up getting the poop kicked out of me by Joker, Harley, Two henchmen clowns and the Titan clown.

    @a27cromwell the bases look excellent Sir.

    @mage just thinking about my game and realised my stormcast dominated the magic phases even against the Kroaknado. On his vortex. Scary.

    New warriors released from their forging and looking forward to spreading the good word of our lord and saviour Sigmar. Everyone sing along!

    Cwn Bai ya Sigmar, Cwm Bai ya. Oh our lord Sigmar.
