    Whats with the bases being so bright and on top of other bases? Making them stand out and confirming to size requirements?

    30 points for the objectives

    @evilstu <20 points>

    Would you mind posting close upts of the first two pics. Voltigeurs look great. Whats a voltigeur? 20 points.

    @dawfydd

    Nice priming. Was that all this weekend or did you do some now, or most of them before? Points hang in the balance, my man.

    @mage Voltigeurs were highly trained French light infantry that would either fight in line or skirmish formation.  As I understand it they were used to pin opposing infantry in place in advance of the main attack column, softening up tightly packed formations and sniping at officers. In Sharp Practice they are great for sneaking up the flanks and generally annoying. Will post close ups of the other stuff as it progresses.

    20 points for feedback and good convo with others.

    Im glad you and @limburger could settle your differences in a most gentlemanly and proper manner!

    @woldenspoons  <10 points>

    The game looks fun. Did he really quit? How are you finding 2nd edition? Any difference in how the army functions? Points pending!

    10 points for your nice little purchases!

    @tuffyears

    @mage according to wikipedia it is the French word for ‘vaulters’ as they were originally intended to jump up and hitch a ride into battle with friendly cavalry. So that is what I have learned today 🙂

    Nice Johnny Alpha model, and welcome to  the thread too!

    @dawfydd <100 points>

    Two knights, basecoated, in one weekend? Damn. Those are big, that’s a lot of work, and you have a gimpy arm now. 50 points each. Anyone think Im too generous, please say so.

    Hard to know what to award points for and as to when models are from with all the group shots. You have a name for your Crusade? Looks like that Imperial force you have are ready to mess up some serious stuff.

    @woldenspoons

    Valid point on the Simpsons

    @limburger <10 points>

    Cool find with the name generator.

    @tuffyears <5 points>

    Love the chainsaw on the roof of that car, 5 points. A potential for some fierce effective policing right there

    @biggabum

    Silly double ‘B’, why say that!?!

    Freddo bar? That’s budget cinema trip chocolate right there.

    Best of luck with the game.

    That’s a nice yellow mix, 5 points for the tip.

    With army painter you us the dip then varnish when dry (give it AT LEAST 24 hours) but I just use the dropper bottle as washes, which I think is better.

    @evilstu <10 points>

    10 points on the tips for shading.

    Love the pics of the Brettonians and Nurgle Chaos Warriors

    @mage good memory to be  honest. It’s a highlight of Voyagers run.

    The Deathwatch have been primed over quite a span – some were a couple of months ago, the rest were last weekend. I’ve only gotten around to sorting them into squads this weekend though 😉

    @mage : those ‘whiskers’ are called “canards” ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canard_(aeronautics) )

    I think the idea is that they help make the thing more agile.

    @tuffyears : it may follow me all day long … ’cause I gots minelayer and spikes for those annoying gits should they go aggro.

    And of course there’s the good ol’ reliable tombstone

    It’s starts of mediocre, but the sequels gets worse … although there’s a few interesting ideas for a game such as gaslands.

    @dawfydd What Chapters are you throwing in to your force?

    @limburger Canard? I thought that was french for Duck? That makes them… ‘side beaks’ then?

    @dawfydd Indeed, well needed pick me up but we all know the gut punch is coming at the end. Im on to the last episode of Luke Cage, and hope the end of the Infinity War movie filters in. Please do not comment either way

    Ill check out the Unstoppable Wasp. Did I mention a GF before?

    @tuffyears I will check the video out when I can J

    @dawfydd <15 points>

    I like the answer to no 3, 15 points. Die Morlcoek Gruppe was the one I was thinking off but the name escaped me.

    Are those Nomads recent?

    @evilstu some long posts and replies there, gonna tackle it in a different post of my own.

    Phew, I need to catch my breath!
