@rayzryr <20 points>
15 points – Nick Cave and the bad seeds. 5 for the x files one, kinda weird and not easy listening.
@horati0nosebl0wer <35 points>
Keoki 10 points in total. Not my cup of tea. 5 for propeleterheads
20 points for the Bloodrave, awesome stuff. 10 for DJ shadow
@robert <35 points>
Anacrusis 15 points. I like it. 10 for Amorphis, reminds me of Dethklok. I might get you sometime to compile a list of album recommendations for me and PM them to me, we appear to be on the same musical taste wavelength. 10 points for the last one too.
March 9, 2019 at 9:40 pm #1358980March 9, 2019 at 9:50 pm #1358981*grin* first unit built : Zagbag’s Gitz
Box cover :
Ze sprues :
A few models are simply model + base. Definitely ‘easy build’ as it says on the box.
The gang assembled :
Every character is unique. They probably are more useful as extra variants in one of the regular squads, but initial plan is to have them as Zagbag’s gitz.
@mage : Amazon (or any web-shop) would make the cost of shipping higher than the cost of the material itself. I haven’t explored all options yet.

That sucks with the extra shipping costs. Great for posting pics and hobby progress. 15 points.
March 9, 2019 at 10:20 pm #1358998@mage : a quick google for lists the stuff I’m looking for at about 2-5 Euro per kilogram at local pet stores.
Should be more than enough for a my army (and probably the rest of my mountain of plastic, resin & metal)Tomorrow I’ve got a birthday for my nephew, so I’m probably done for this weekend.
Although with the way these ‘easy build’ kits are I may have time to build Molog & his crew.March 9, 2019 at 10:29 pm #1359000March 9, 2019 at 10:32 pm #1359001I got most of the basecaots down on the Conquest Primaris contents. Mostly. The purity seals in Zandri dust, the wax of them with purple, the red basecoat done and washed, some extra black on parts, more mephiston read on ribbon/chord/rope, blue on the reactor bubble backpack yoke, and metal on places. A slow and constant slog. Also finished some terrain which I glued to older small boxes and barrels so a couple of dozen pieces became five decent ones. Nothing will get lost, smooshed or roll around under something that way.
March 9, 2019 at 10:34 pm #1359002Tomorrow I hope to finish the metal basecoats, touch up the metal and red and start painting stuff like pouches, holsters and grenades. Then I will move onto the washes, hopefully. My wrist still hurts. Im probably going to Captain Marvel after work tomorrow so it could be Monday before I paint again.
March 9, 2019 at 10:38 pm #1359003@mage nice work… all that metallic paints make my brushes scream in terror 😉
And despite the blowbacks with that ridiculous repair (1159,94€) I got myself to do some hobby. And that’s thanks to no small part of the joy I get from @theterraintutor and the guys at the Weekender. I’m so looking forward to the XLBS tomorrow.
Mel, you really pick me up. If I ever manage to revisit England (and we talked about shortly a while back about my student trips to Eastbourne) I’ll make sure that I get to your parts somehow and then I’ll get a coffee for you.
But before I get more emotional right now (saving that for some other time) here’s my hobby progress on the filthy rebel pathfinders.

*eh* … I will try to avoid ordering Shadowspear myself until I’ve built and painted my Gitz.
At least that is what I will keep telling myself.
I do not need yet another platoon of spacemarines, until I can find a better & more efficient way to do the colour scheme I want for them.March 9, 2019 at 11:58 pm #1359011March 10, 2019 at 10:50 am #1359074@limburger Hope you got the bike sorted. Not biking weather here at the moment, the amount of rain over the last few days has been high even for Irish standards. The grit you put in the bottom of a bird cage might be very dusty. The stuff you put at the bottom of a fish tank will be cleaner but more colourful 🙂
Speaking of colourful but I actually hate coloured plastic. Yes, grey is a colour but at least you can see the mould lines on it. I really like those new goblin models though.
@evilstu those buildings look ace! Only watched Wales v Scotland yesterday, but the big one is today, Ireland v France.
@mage Your gold looks great. I really want to make a joke about your wrist hurting but I won’t! No problem about the album recommendations!
@dawfydd good start on the Marines. I always wanted to do some Howling Griffons but quarters scare me! Also loving the old school undercoating gold in brown!
@horati0nosebl0wer i noticed the pattern on the heads of some of the bigger walkers. Very cool and smart way of doing it. All Centaurs are awesome. I love the ones in the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe movie and would build and army of those tomorrow if you could buy them in model form. I do have a few of Mantic’s Naughty Dwarf Centaurs and Force of Nature Centaurs in the lead pile somewhere.
@blinky182 I agree about Pantera coming of age… they dropped the make up and decided to sound like Exhorder! Thunder were really good. Surprised you didn’t mention The Almighty. Also I concur about grunge!
@sundancer ouch on the car costs, yeah on the rebels!
March 10, 2019 at 11:05 am #1359075Got a couple of hours of BB2 in. My memory is jogged about blocking, dodging and tackle zones! I might even try and play a human opponent some day!
Got some time in the shed, starting to get there. I didn’t realise I had bought so many Doctor Who models…
Music… 1996 and 1997
1996. In Flames – The Jester Race. 90s In Flames were always sort of Iron Maiden meets Death Metal and it actually works.
1997 . Borknagar – The Ear of Oden. Epic Black Metal. But it isn’t really Black Metal. I love this band.
