Hi @evilstu for not having much time you are still getting plenty of hobby in. Looking forward to seeing pictures of your stuff, especially those big dragon!
Thanks for the kind words everyone! If @sundancer would be willing to wrap up for me around Thursday, that would be greatly appreciated. Fantastic work everyone!
@evilstu there is no such thing as a ‘pile of shame’ to us collectors.
At best it is art that hasn’t been put on display yet …
And as any good collector knows : things devalue once you open the box … so best keep them closed. 😉
As such the correct term is : potential pile of gold. 😀
@crazyredcoat sorry, I can’t do it. Simply because I work the day over and this Thursday after work I’m having a game of Legion at my FLGS.
Don’t keep them closed. Let them breathe.
@sundancer No worries, mate. I’ll try my best to get everything closed up Thursday morning (which will be Thursday afternoon for most of you). You’ll have to tell us how the game went next weekender! Good luck!
@woldenspoons some of them are like opening Pandora’s box : once open they either are impossible to close or you need a very specific packing/unpacking sequence 🙁
And given my current game storage challenges I can’t always risk it.
I saw a potential new house for sale that used to be a storefront. I can’t stop thinking about using the ‘former store’ part of that as gigantic hobby room.
Now if only I could win the lottery … that’d be great.
Just dipping my toe with the thread this week. There isn’t a whole lot going on on my end, but just need to decompress a tad. Also Hobby was slow. Called up to a friends house for three hous and assembled three marines and did a tiny but of painting. Too busy watching the Nintendo Direct on youtube and getting takeout.
Did a tiny bit of work on my Minotaurs Captain before bed but nothing to take a picture of and show. He’s the last Primaris model in the army until I get more Primaris stuff in Conquest Magazine. There are still two characters, two Ironclads, a Landraider and drop pod to do. I might do some Death Guard as a break and build up the Primaris stuff again and come back to it later. It would be nice to finish some Deathguard and have a complete set of Dark Imperium when I combine it with the Minotaurs.

@limburger Square Enix wasn’t bad but Bethesda and Ubisoft did not put on a good show. Nintendo did a great job with their direct.
@sundancer Interesting looking Kickstater.
@tuffyears Loving the Fyreslayers
@sundancer Cyberpunk looked fun and Keanu Reeves was a nice inclusion.
@robert Loving the Undead, the hedcrests look amazing.

I may get some more work done on the Captain tonight.
Also, I feel up to hosting this weekend. Also, I hope to do the last outstanding thread I hosted in the next day or two (sorry about taking so long to get around to it guys)
@limburger yes… winning the lottery… that would be nice….
I won the lottery finding this thread and hanging out with my new friends.
@tuffyears looks like you’re getting the leftovers of todays weather from the continent 😉
I think we had enough rain for the next few months

I must admit … not watching any of the E3 stuff until after it’s done has got to be the best thing ever.
Skip the boring stupid hype shows filled with pre-recorded fake demos and straight to the good stuff.
Like this little nugget at the end of the new CP2077 trailer :
Way to keep a secret boys …
