@sundancer apologies buddy din’t realise you hadn’t posted to the thread before (I’ve just missed a few months…). Welcome aboard! 🙂
August 6, 2018 at 11:06 am #1247984August 6, 2018 at 11:12 am #1247993@tuffyears given all you need is a single Osprey book, some handy cars and miscellaneous hobby bits and pieces that we all have lying about this seems like an outrageously cheap game to get in on – might have to have a look at it and see if my niblings are keen…
August 6, 2018 at 11:16 am #1247994@evilstu it was £9.99 for the rules and £4 for the cars. cheaper then a night on the town and more fun
August 6, 2018 at 12:32 pm #1248048There are some dice cheat sheets over on Board-game geek for gaslands. so you dont have to ruin your lucky or unlucky dice
August 6, 2018 at 1:12 pm #1248061August 6, 2018 at 1:53 pm #1248095August 6, 2018 at 2:16 pm #1248128@sundancer @woldenspoons my bad too guys, apologies for not welcoming you sooner. In my defence, and all the guys on here who know me will back me up on this, i’m an idiot. So welcome to the thread and i’m looking forward to seeing your hobby. Have fun.
@evilstu you’re not far off it about the hot weather mate, I can just wheel the wife outside in her wheelchair and just leave her there while I hobby 😀 (Actually the weather affects her condition so she doesn’t need as much attention when its warm).
I actually have a book on Amazon called Biggabums One Liners, it retails at £34.99, its only got one line in it….. working on the sequel now….
@tuffyears Great buy Sir and what you’ve done to the cars is fantastic.
August 6, 2018 at 3:35 pm #1248159Annoyed by myself. Seems I missed a whole line with the very expensive gold spray even when applying the wash. More touch up to do before applying all the excitement of a slightly different gold paint. Good times.

Good feedback to others. 30 points. I must have missed @torros batrep. Better look again.
There is a lot to be said for Daemons, Undead and Slaanesh Warriors of Chaos not having to take fear or panic tests. Yeah, man, Slaanesh were faaaaaast in WFB. Reading your choice of models and what you used them for, you really knew what you were doing. Still, a mage with 2 dispell scrolls is always handy. I remember with the Keeper of Secrets having M10. 20 inch charges… how bad?

Your hopes aren’t making it to my neck of the woods. My boy is being particularly difficult. I managed to steal away an hour to paint but it isn’t going well.
Reminds me of something from the Simpsons.
He must think you are ill with the painting haha. Just did some work on my killing Joke Joker. I am enjoying my choice of colours but this particular cast wasn’t great and the weather I chose to prime him in didn’t help. Hopefully the fun I have with him will improve it.
The Graphic novel should be very easy to find. Finding it cheap though is another matter. They also made a straight to DVD animated movie of it.
Joker crew is great. 45 points.
No shame, dive on in! Post up pics of your progress too
(1) Rome is awesome. 10 points.
(2) Good choice, 10 points. Every see the Shanarra Chronicles TV show?
(3) It never appealed to me but the card game is still popular. Some cool monster designs though, but very kiddish. Just after my time. 10 points.
(4) Sounds delicious. I once tried a yankee candle that was christmas cookie flavoured. 15 points.
(5) I fell behind on it after season 1 but liked the background, story, races and overall production design. Shame it got cancelled.
What exactly did you play? Mission, points and armies. Any pics? Poitns pending…
What Stormhost? Hammers of Sigmar based on the gold comment, I guess? Again, pics!
Darkstar once more. Feel free to plug away and post about it. It is more than welcome in here. Always good fun to read your well-crafted material and word smithery.

Good feedback to others. 25 points.
Guys on the tank look good. 20 points.
Valid point on reality TV, but the once exception I have to the rule is Flavour of Love with Flava Flav. It is train-wreckingly good to watch. Its so, so, so baaaaad it loops around the space time continuum, albeit quietly, like five or six points and is just above the line of ‘good bad-tv show’. Scandalously ridiculous, but if you don’t take it seriously its good.
Good feedback to tohers. 30 points.
Okay, back to parenting. Pool time. Chat later everyone. Ill get pics up this evening.
August 6, 2018 at 4:33 pm #1248219Cor we have a proper banner at the top of the page. Does this mean we’re offical [Comment to tow the party line].
Do we get t-shirts?
I have this strange feeling that I have to start liking skirmish games with 3 figures a side in them and back Kickstarters so I can complain endlessly about them
Off for a lie down to see if it passes
August 6, 2018 at 4:44 pm #1248229@mage sorry to hear that mate, I think younguns can get a bit like that in this heat. Our Lily has been the same today, hot and bothered and completely uncooperative.
Managed to get a Hardback copy of the Killing Joke (Used) off e-bay for £12.99 this morning. After reading the reviews i’m looking forward to reading it.
August 6, 2018 at 4:50 pm #1248230@biggabum I’ve read that. Work was really boring one day and I found in a cupboard. I’m not a marvel/DC fan but it wasn’t bad
August 6, 2018 at 5:05 pm #1248232August 6, 2018 at 5:17 pm #1248247@torros I was a marvel fan, found DC a little bit too dark (well the few i actually read anyway) but getting more into DC now… I blame @mage 😀
@tuffyears The Gaslands cars are definately looking more beefy now. Will you be posting a bat rep?
