June 18, 2019 at 11:35 am #1406008Nice @lawnor . You do lovely work as always mate. Keep it up it an inspiration to see
(I on the otherhand seem to be in a massive work/life induced slump…. I have to catch a break soon … ahh well the tides will turn again soon)
June 18, 2019 at 11:39 am #1406010Do what you need to to survive. Don’t force yourself to hobby. That might break it for you permanently. Life sucks unfortunately.
July 8, 2019 at 10:40 am #1412395July 16, 2019 at 9:58 am #1415111That’s 6 more models from my pledge done. I’ve primed the 5 Deadzone guys and almost finished the 4 Cygnar minis too.
July 30, 2019 at 9:58 am #14196426 more models finished for my pledge. Unfortunately, I just bought 16 more that have to be added. Yay, I got a bargain, but boo that’s my goals pushed back even further.
July 30, 2019 at 11:16 am #1419688Hey guys, I’m really liking all the great work here!
@beardragon don’t worry about it mate, hobby time/ motivation will come around again. I took a bit of a break recently (got a new laptop after, oh… about 10 years! So spent some time setting that up, and catching up on a few old games I hadn’t played). But back into it now 🙂
On that… I caved in and subscribed to the WH40K Conquest magazine… me and two mates are in a challenge to have it painted. It seems to have stalled somewhat. So more for my pledge this year. I haven’t even looked at painting Kingdom Death…
And a bunch of Poxwalkers completed so far. More nearly done. Check out the Project
August 4, 2019 at 1:56 pm #1421657I finished 4 of the remaining 5 mercenaries for Deadzone from my pledge:
The Helfather
Blaine
Project Oberon
Chovar Psychic
August 8, 2019 at 9:21 pm #1423207September 30, 2019 at 11:01 am #1442263A few more items crossed off my list. That leaves 7 more models, 3 of which are half way done, a 4th is primed and ready for work and assembly has begun on a 5th. I’ve had to cancel my Masons from the pledge as a friend picked them up cheap for me at SteamCon last year and life has gotten in the way of us seeing each other ever since. . We have 3 months left of the year. How is everyone else’s pledges coming along? I see a fair bit of colour on the chart. I hope you’ve all had productive years so far. There’s still time to make a dent in your piles of shame.
If anyone is interested I’ll be setting up a similar chart for 2020 (We’re living in the future!) around December. I’ve already put some thought in to what I’ll be adding to my pledge.

September 30, 2019 at 3:07 pm #1442356Well, as I posted to another one of the threads I’ve been working on painting and one of my ‘project boxes’ is almost done.
I’m trying to do more display/competition oriented work with upping the base quality. Life is getting in the way as well but I’m still plugging away (more slowly than I care to).
October 1, 2019 at 10:56 pm #1442989Well done @lawnor you are smashing it. nearly done and we are only just into October. Great stuff.
@horati0nosebl0wer that is a lovely paint job. Nice going.
The rest of us seem to be doing okay. I’m a bit behind but have just broken the half way mark and have quite a few bits nearing completion on the painting table. No photos atm as not much time available but maybe later. Justin would not approve as I have a huge army of Gaesatae (naked Celts for those not into their history) nearing completion. Even he wouldn’t be able to find enough pairs of clippers.
October 2, 2019 at 9:38 am #1443107Just be sure to tag him in to every single picture you post of them. Start calling them Justin shots, to go with the Lloyd rear shots.
October 3, 2019 at 11:48 pm #1443546Ok, count one more thing done from the list with Blessed of December w a Lloyd gratuitous rear shot
