Gonna be painting up the knight of shrouds on steed. sprayed up a lord ordinator as well in case I feel like switching it up later.

I thought he needed some colour so striped trousers have been added.
First break. So far one LVT primed and ready for painting and one marine assembled, painted and washed:
Stage 4, Mechanicus standard grey to block out base and stone work, i will before the next step pick out the bones , leaves and metal work
Just about finished making some marines that were scratch built from my bitsbox. Going to paint them as Alpha Legion. But that’s for another time. I have just three more to go and then back to my Grey Knight Titan. Which I know I have been neglecting but I will get into that latter.
Okay gonna be doing my first project during Hobby Night Live. It’s a Learning project – I’m still trying to learn how to paint again after 20 odd years away from the hobby!!
Am working through the Massive Darkness minis as I think they are good ones to learn on again!
Ive then started to add more folds and finer detail. This took time and was a bit frustrating but actually quite enjoyable until I then fat fingers touched it leaving my finger prints all over it!
a bit of water and feathering and it was all back flat again.
Ive also sculpted in a hood and belt and final touches after gluing in the arms.
The sculpting is done! just got to wait for it to dry and cure now ready for painting!
