    My problem was with them not just directly contacting the content creator, as a copyright strike is a three strike system for a youtuber and can be monumentally dire for a creator on said platform.

    Assuming that they know that is the case. I knew that three community strikes got you a ban or something, I didn’t realise a copyright claim automatically led to a community strike. I assume it just blocked the video

    It does a few things. Demonetises the video for one. I mean, I’m 90% sure she’s a LGS owner as well so I mean… how often does this happen with hobby stuff? Like, they could have just messaged her directly without potentially screwing up her channel
