    From their Facebook page

    “Hey Folks,

In line with local government health advice, all our Warhammer and Games Workshop stores will be shut from the 24th March until an initial date of the 14th April.

We’ll also be closing our factory and distribution centres – so our online stores (Games Workshop, Forge World and Black Library) won’t be selling or shipping any physical products during this period either. If you’ve recently placed an order and are waiting for it to arrive, please give us 48 hours to contact you. If you’ve still got questions after that, then please drop our Customer Service team a line via email, they’ll be valiantly working from home to ensure you’re supported over this period.

We hope to be back soon – in the meantime, keep on building and painting. We can’t wait to see those finished projects.

    See you all again soon”

Better get your orders in with your usual online store (as all the FLGS are closed), as things are going to be out of stock for a while. DIDN’T expect the warehouse and distribution to close down, but I suppose it IS in line with Government guidance when you think about it.

They are not the only one.

I received a mail from Warlord games with a similar message.

Yup I think we can take it as said that most of the larger companies will wind down in the next few weeks. And come to think of it probably the smaller ones too (that work from home/garage), as they will not be able to get to a post office and/or courier to ship the items.

I can only imagine BoW will do so too (unless Justin finishes that tunnel from his flat to the studio)…….

It seems not everybody is closing, battle foam is up and running and is doing a sale from 25 March until 29 March.

North Star Figures are still open too for mail order so plenty of ranges available through them.  People can still go to the post office so until they stop that some of the smaller companies and home-based businesses will still be going.

I know my local post office is closed down, probably some of the larger POs might remain open for the foreseeable future. I suppose it’s all going to boil down to what the Government does over the next few weeks (and companies like Amazon no longer delivering “non essential” delivery items).
