The model of the S-Boot looks great and the others, as far as you can see in the pictures, do to. Very interested in building and painting them.

For the game itself, not really at all. The scale is just off to me and doesn’t encompass what I am interested in from naval warfare. All games are of course abstractions, but even for naval light forces engagements that scenario laid out on the table just looks wrong.

@damon got a big box full of those models and some by another manufacturer, ended up writing my own rules ‘Dogboat’ but havent played it for eons.

1/300th scale is interesting, the ground(sea) to model scale will be interesting as 1 metre at that scale is about 300 metres.

Cant remember the effective range of most engagements during the war, but as most were at night between 50-500 yds is average though most damage was inflicted at about the 50-200 yds if memory serves.

@bobcockayne, yes, I’m interested to see this new game. Was at Chillcon show in Derby so couldn’t get to Warlord’s open day.

I’ve still got a box full of 1/600 boats buried somewhere in the loft, looks like naval gaming might make a bit of a comeback.

So looking forward to this game. Most definitely on my Christmas list.

Meant to be out in December, surprised nothing on Warlords site yet.
